A very nice hotel in good location. We walked everyday along the seafront with many restaurants and shops. Easy to walk into the main town 15/20 minutes. Stayed 6-11 December and booked a Junior Suite with sea views. Very nice with a separate lounge area and bedroom. TV in both rooms with English TV channels.  We arrived early but were given an early check-in as our room was ready, which was much appreciated. It was our anniversary and the hotel arranged a complimentary bottle of cava and chocolate cake in our room, which was lovely. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner was buffet and always a nice selection. Very good service in the breakfast and dining room. Thank you Hotel Occidental for a lovely holiday.

Great area to leave your clubs beside reception.

We booked this hotel because we missed warm pool last time we were in the area during December. This hotel was twice the price compared to similar hotels, but we booked it anyway. It was a major disappointment. Rooms weren't that good, or clean, as it looked in the pictures. Bathroom was very basic and the room missed a lot of amenities like kettle and iron. I was very surprised to learn that we kettle was available for a price. Also towels had a cost. And the biggest disappointment; the "heated" pool was very small and it was 20 degrees Celsius. Don't understand how that isa heated pool. I do not recommend this hotel unless it's priced same as Illunion.

Really nice hotel right by the beach. Clean, modern with a friendly staff. Depending on which side of the hotel your room is on you can have great views of the sea, the mountains, or both! Only had breakfast at the hotel which was standard for European hotels. Some really great restaurants within walking distance.

Great location! We had deluxe rooms with a comfortable and spacious bed. My minuses would be the paid safe and the fact that the swimming towels are changed every three days. Less than that for a charge. In addition, better sunbeds cost 50 euros per day.
