It's not often I'll ever have any desire to stay at one location multiple times however, this hotel was absolutely unreal. The location, facilities, staff, restaurant & room was unbelievable I did not want to leave. I'm quite the traveller so I like to go out, explore, see the sites etc... at Hotel ROC Illetas, I didn't want to leave. Pure relaxation and the location is perfect. The hotels direct access to the ocean was the highlight along with the beautiful views from the room. My housekeeper was such a sweetheart (I forgot her name) but I could not recommend this hotel enough. I stayed for 10 nights and wish it was longer. Thank you all so much an incredible stay. It's an experience I'll never forget. Can't wait to come back and stay with you again soon!

Having just arrived we were a little disappointed to be located in a superior room but in a block across the road from the hotel on the first floor with very little sea view. They kindly moved us to the fourth floor with a beautiful sea view. Having read the reviews I am glad we are in the new block even though it is not in the main hotel. Very good breakfast and a superb buffet for dinner with very nice terrace available. Lifts unfortunately do not go right down to the pools. Lots of sitting out areas but also lots of climbing required!  The spa is also very nice and can be reached by lift. The hotel is on the number 4 regular bus route into palma, and close to some small beaches with a small number of restaurants available near by. Staff generally very friendly and helpful. We had a nice stay here.

Bartender Alejandro does not serve to Asian guests. This was brought to the attention of the guest experience manager Leti who did nothing. I told her the first night we sat there at a table and was not served for a half hour while other tables were. Then we stood at the bar for a half hour and he was ignoring us with only 2 other guests at the bar who he was chatting with for about 40 minutes while he did not acknowledge us. Eventually another bartender came after 1 hour and gave us drinks. We were never offered another at our table while he made several rounds to the other guests. The second night, we brought 1 drink down to the live entertainment, with hopes of ordering more throughout the night, and again, Alejandro never visited our table, yet he served all the other guests. After sitting for over 2 hours with not even a greeting, we went back to our room. The third night, we again went to the live entertainment with one drink, as the prior 2 nights he was clearly not serving guests of Asian descent. And he came over and told us to leave because we brought our own drinks. We explained to him that he did not serve us the last 2 nights and would like service tonight and asked for menus. He left our table and called the front desk telling them we were not following hotel policy by brining one drink each to the live entertainment. The front desk kept looking down at our table from the upper floor making us very uncomfortable. After an hour we left. I went to the front desk to complain about Alejandro, and the front desk agent was unable to understand that we were not served the prior 2 nights and just said we can’t bring our own drinks in (which we would not have done, if we were acknowledged by the bartender). The next morning I brought it to the attention of guest experience manager Leti, who was also unable to comprehend that the bartender refused to acknowledge our existence for 2 nights, and then would not give us menus on the 3rd night. I urged her to check the cameras so she could see us waiting at the tables and bar for over an hour the last two nights and she refused to look at the footage and had a very nasty unfriendly attitude claiming Alejandro was “so friendly”. Anyway. If you are of European descent you will be fine. If you are of an ethnic background you will treated with utter disrespect. This trip was for myself and my two elderly parents so we were the quietest guests who unfortunately picked the wrong hotel. Will never stay at this hotel or hotel chain and will be cross posting this review on several outlets to warn others.

I loved staying in Roc Illetes. The views are incredddddible, and having a quiet cove was truly the best experience. The breakfast was amazing and a sea view was perfect. The hotel is not always the most modern feeling, but to me that is the charm; it has character, flavor and history!

Easy parking for rental cars and great service from the team like Santiago (Santi) and Leon. As a solo traveler, it was a great and easy place to stay. Dinner buffet isn’t 100%, but everything else was perfect for my stay. I would come back ✨
