We always come to bishops arms when we visit Sweden. Always a great choice of beer, cider, and drinks from local and worldwide breweries. The food was to die for, we got the venison meatballs and the lamb steak both of which were gorgeous. The sauce on the lamb was unlike anything I’ve had before. The staff were lovely but if you haven’t visited Scandinavia it’s worth noting that alcohol is always a little bit more pricey

Painful experience. Ordered  three course dinner for romantic stay, restaurant wasn’t busy at all, servers and bar staff were into the phones or chatting together, not a single time anyone came to our table to ask about the food, neither to offer drinks while glasses were empty in a visible place. Simple lack of attention and zero respect, no hospitality. Ordered fish stew, Skagen toast and mushroom risotto. Skagen toast came with a two tiny slices of bread, fish stew was gummy, risotto tasted like leftovers. I explained everything eye to eye in a professional manner to the manager, she said she will take it with the staff for consideration. I doubt

It is very modelled on an old English pub. Has a range of beers on tap. Really friendly bar staff. The food is OK, but portions of food may be small for some people. It has a great atmosphere. Revisited and still has a great selection of beer 🍺

No one goes to a pub for the salad, but they should!  Their take on a niçoise is amazing!  I recommend getting some toasted sourdough for the coddled egg.
