Went for New Year treat lunch. First visit.  Excellent location and we got a table that looked over the garden.Entertained by various wildlife , birds and rabbits.  Lunch was very good,  we had 3 courses but there were many extra delights and amuse bouch.  standard was very high with really interesting and unique flavours presented beautifully. Staff were attentive and warm. I have already recommended to my friends and would definitely visit again.

We went to visit St. Andrews for the golf and celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary.  I will say you will spend some money however I will also say the entire experience and the food was beyond worth it.  The pre drink service was so warm and professional.  The staff spoiled us with attentiveness and great cocktails and wine.  When our table was ready we were escorted to our table and had the by far the best food experience we have ever had.  Each course was beautifully prepared and so delicious.  You have choices on your courses with every course well thought out and prepared.  If you go to St. Andrews it is a must go!  Thank you greatly to the Chef and staff.

We went to the restaurant for the lunch tasting menu, absolutely beautiful. The coeliac / gluten free option, was almost identical, you couldn't tell the difference!! Very minimal changes, Fabulous!

I used to live 5 minutes away from The Peat Inn, so this is very much a posthumous rating - Google Reviews were not around in those days - in honour of the late and great David Wilson, with whom I spent many after dinner hours with him drinking only the finest of whatever was available.

A fantastic overnight stay with a sublime dinner and one of the best breakfasts I've had. Rooms, service and attention to detail, all outstanding!
