They recently expanded beyond 4 small outdoor tables but it's still quite a small restaurant. The atmosphere feels young and laid back but still very professional.

I've seen multiple other reviews stating they are close to Michelin Star level and I agree. I think they are quite close to a 1* level but just under the mark. I'm sure with a few tweaks and refinement of some dishes they could easily reach a 1*. Everything was very good and I would absolutely return again in the future, especially if they get that star!

We had a beautiful experience at Pargot. Each dish was a new artistic experience! Special mention for the exceptional stuffed chili chocolate dessert. This is probably one of the best desserts I have ever had, it will stay in my memory for a very long time.

Great restaurant to try elevated Mexican food. All the dishes were well thought out, be prepared for a treat. It's a small shop with outdoor seating so be sure to book ahead of time. Had the entire menu except 'fishing' Favorite dish the clam soup, amazing mix of textures and stacked flavours. One dish to improve the tostada my table found to be a tad too salty but flavour wise it's on point. The sweet chili dessert blew my mind, I almost got one to go. Hope they grow to a bigger place so it can be enjoyed by more people! Excellent service by Pablo, give him a raise chef!

Min fru och jag gick som måltid för att fira giftermålet. Måltiden var på alla sätt exceptionell, från Service, till presentation, curering av tallrikar, matlagning panna och smak. Vi båda fick mocktails som var både läckra och var så imponerad av varje måltid. Servitören (tatuering på bakhuvudet, smart klädd) är där uppe med de bästa servitörerna jag någonsin haft. För priset vi betalade, fenomenalt. Den tostados skapelse de gjorde var otroligt läcker, och vad som var så imponerande var hur de lät varje rätt vara en annan representation av mexikanska köket. Som jag alltid säger om restauranger, när vi var på denna restaurang, de inte röra upp alls. Vi älskade det och kommer definitivt tillbaka när vi har turen att gå tillbaka till Mexico City.

Kocken Alexis Ayala, känd mer för sin berömda Taqueria Alexis, öppnade gourmetrestaurangen Restaurante Pargot bredvid. Pargot är en helgedom till kock Ayalas kulinariska vision och kreativitet. Bara hans musselgryta räcker för att göra ett besök på Pargot ett måste. Det var en av mina ”decenniets rätter”, en annan kulinarisk hågkomst som gjorde mina 75 år på den här planeten värda det. Men varje aspekt av Pargot, från dess vackra, moderna design, till den eleganta servicen, fick kunderna att känna sig speciella. Pargot är en bra restaurang, i nivå med det bästa av CDMX. Kycklingvingekroketter, serverade på en skulptural gren, besläktade med en presentation på den hyllade Alinea i Chicago, smakade fantastiskt, till skillnad från alla ”game day” kycklingvingar. Vår grillade bläckfisk var kvällens enda miss. Vi tyckte att det var okej. Den fyllda Chiledesserten slog av mig strumporna, men min make trodde att det var nada. Priserna var en stjäla för en måltid av denna kvalitet; ca $ 85 amerikanska dollar vardera inklusive två aptitretare, två förrätter, en dessert, två glas vin och två cocktails. Pargots musselgryta är värd hundra dollar på egen hand. Gå, du kommer att älska Pargot.

Sov inte på Pargot. Allvarligt, bästa måltiden vi hade i cdmx. Mest underskattade pärla i hela staden. Kvaliteten på maten och servicen matchas med någon michelin stjärnmärkt restaurang till en bråkdel av priset. Även om det var fullt hus, kändes det inte trångt eller högt eftersom det är litet och så personligt i alla aspekter. Vi kommer att komma tillbaka hit när vi besöker cdmx.

Allt var bra. Favoritrestaurang i Mexico City. Så kreativt, tillgängligt och gott. Min fru gillar inte saker för galet, och det här stället trycker på alla de rätta knapparna. Super kreativa variationer av traditionell mexikansk mat. Det var så gott, jag var tvungen att prova en maträtt till efter att jag redan var mätt - och jag är så glad att jag gjorde det. Rekommendationer - fläskrätt, svärmors nötköttsrätt och aubergine taco. Ropa ut till tjänsten också - top notch.

Utmärkt, vänlig service. Mycket välsmakande mat tillagad med omsorg. Kyparen rekommenderade en utmärkt torr rosé från Coahuila, Mexiko. Restaurangen lyckas vara elegant och bekväm på samma gång.

Jag hittade Pargot när jag tittade på de bästa restaurangerna i Mexico City, och det gjorde ingen besviken. Först är fastigheten nummer 46 och den är uppdelad i en taqueria på ena halvan och Pargot på den andra halvan. Jag gick precis vid den eftersom den var liten och bara hade 4 utomhusbord. De flyttar dock tvärs över gatan om ett par veckor så de kommer att ha minst 10 bord. Vi började med tunnbrödet. Det var vår favoriträtt. Därefter följde kycklingvingekroketter, fläsk och tamale. Varje rätt var så välgjord att jag inte kunde tro att den kom från ett så litet kök. Servicen var bra, och kocken kom över och presenterade sig. Eftersom vi fick reda på att taqueria drivs av samma kock, bestämde vi oss för att ha en "efterrätt" nötkött taco bredvid. Det var fantastiskt också. Definitivt prova denna restaurang om du är i Mexico City!

Detta var vårt andra besök här och maten är utmärkt. Det bästa vi har haft i CDMX. Maten är verkligen intressant och sofistikerad. Som många andra ställen här finns det bara några bord på gatan. Men det är täckt och i kombination med personlig service gör det till en enastående upplevelse.
