My buddy and I were walking around the area and stumbled upon this place.  He’s a whiskey drinker and wanted to stop in.  The place is extremely clean and the bartenders were/are awesome!  My buddy had an old fashioned and he said it was one of the best he’s had.  Long story short we ended coming back the next day to eat dinner and enjoy more whiskey.  Burger was great! I absolutely love this place and will 100% be going back next time I’m in Burlington.

The exterior of The Whiskey Room is impressive. I think it was a bank in a past life. But I was expecting that feeling to carry on into the inside and it wasn't. Though it's nice inside, I found it too dark and sombre for my taste.
I came in principally to get a Scotch and they have a decent selection of bottles on offer. They also offer food but since I'd already eaten I didn't look at what they had.
I sat at a very pleasant wood bar that was small and cozy. The bartender was friendly and efficient. There weren't many people there when I was there at around 7pm. midweek but I imagine it fills up later in the evening.
All in all it's an okay place for a dram of Whiskey.

The moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome & a smile. Mike served us the entire time, he was attentive, friendly and very accommodating. What a wonderful personality he had and gave us some interesting history about the place as well. We can’t wait to go back. They had nice cocktails & whiskeys, food was proper. I recommend trying this place out, it has a laidback vibe to it. They have a fireplace to the left when you come in.

Probably the best selection of whiskey in Vermont, largely a solid mid shelf selection with a few very high-end options. Great place to expand your whiskey pallet. The bartenders know their stuff and it is a very comfortable and well decorated room.
It is attached to Ri Ra so you can get food there if you want a full meal. There is a limited menu of food available in the whiskey room.

Limited whiskey menu -- The service was great and the food was quite good. We had the Gochujang sweet chili wings and the pretzel rods. The cheese sauce that came with the pretzels was wonderful. Unfortunately, the whiskey menu is limited and the whiskeys they actually had were even more limited. When we went, there were at least 6 whiskeys on the menu they didn't have.
