Great service! Large selection of Croatian wines and scotch whiskey. Large selection of steaks, maybe the best in whole Croatia. Steak was proffesionally prepared and sideshes were also fresh and tasty. Dessert was also great. It is worth the trip from Rijeka city center.

The service was excellent, the atmosphere also but the food was disappointing.
The main course was good but nothing that is worth that money.
The starters were all very sweet. Rose beef, salad, even the grilled vegetables were sweet! On the edge of making it edible.
The duck prosciutto is one of the worst dishes I ever tried. Tasteless, with berries, some kind of jam and I don't know what else but sweet, sweet, sweet.
Allegedly, they changed the Chef because I heard all but praises for this restaurant.
All in all, you can find a better option for far less money.

10/10 Every time we visited, this was an unmatched experience. In my opinion, hands down the best restaurant in Croatia at the moment. Looking forward to visiting again

Fantastic experience.  One of (if not the best) the best meat restaurants in the area. Accompanied by professional and friendly service all around. Bit pricey,  however, expected, therefore worth it definitely. Truly enjoyed it 💯 💶 💯!!! Strongly recommended to all meat and generally food lovers! Will be back.

Given this restaurant’s reputation and the high prices they charge for their food and service, I had high expectations, but I was left disappointed.

Meat
The meat was nothing special. Honestly, I’ve had better quality from my local butcher. I highly doubt the piece I was served was grass-fed or pasture-raised. It looked much better than it tasted, which was underwhelming.

Cooking Oils
Most of the food appeared to be fried or grilled using oils that oxidize at high temperatures—olive oil at best. I can’t be sure there weren’t seed oils used, which is something I try to avoid. At a place like this, I would expect butter or tallow instead. This is not the type of cooking I want to pay such a premium price for, nor is it something I want to eat at all.

Sauces
The sauces were mostly basic combinations of commercial products, such as mustard mixed with honey or barbecue sauce. I expect freshly made sauces with high-quality ingredients, free of seed oils, especially at a restaurant charging these prices.

Water
The water was served in a very small imported bottle at an exorbitant price. Who drinks such a small amount of water? The restaurant is located in an area known for some of the highest water quality in the world, so there is no justification—aside from financial gain—not to serve fountain water for "free," like most other restaurants. I’d gladly pay for a pitcher of fountain water rather than be forced to drink a few drops of overpriced imported water. It makes no sense to me.

Overall Quality
When a restaurant charges premium prices, I expect premium quality, and this place didn’t come close to meeting that standard.

Ambience
The ambience was fine. I personally prefer restaurants with windows instead of a basement, “konoba”-style decor. Some parts of the restaurant did have windows, I think.
