We went here for lunch after a trip to Segestan Temppeli and it was delicious! Amazing wine, lovely people! Would’ve loved to have stayed longer. One very important tip if you’re coming from Segestan Temppeli and using google maps, don’t just follow it because it will take you on a ridiculous route over a mountain and to a road you can’t go down because of landslides. Instead put in Podere Messina to your maps which is 5 mins drive from the temple, and then the entrance to Agriturismo Tenute Pispisa is just there (and then it’s 10 mins drive up that track!). Don’t make the mistake we did, because it’s actually very close if you go the above route!

Words can hardly describe the setting of this elegant agriturismo.  Set literally right in the middle of their own vineyards, this property is like an island in a sea of greenery with romantic views in every direction not to mention the stunning views of Segesta on the approach to the property.  Our hosts could not have been more gracious and cordial.  We tried out best speaking Spanish with an Italian accent;) and the hosts barely batted an eye. The farm-to-table family-style dinner was the finest of the trip with all of the veggies coming from the elaborate garden above the villa.  The rooms were everything we imagined with towering ceilings, gorgeous wooden doors and plenty of room.  The main dining room and huge swimming pool and shaded seating area are all to die for with views from every seat.  We thank this dear family for the stay of a lifetime and everyone always says it...we WILL return.

Absolutely amazing!!! Gluten free pasta and dessert available. Great service and outstanding views of the ruins along the driveway ( we didn’t even pay to go in after seeing it from there) and from the restaurant great views of the vineyards and landscapes. Local delicious produce. Would recommend 100%

Authentic rural environment. A beautiful landscape that brings peace as soon as you get in there. Room are spacious and very clean. Breakfast and dinner are delicious, home-made and traditional. External area is superb, amazing view of the mountains, and a small lake. Super friendly owners   that do their possible to make you comfortable. Animals are friendly as well, "Dandi" the dog is charming. As  this is an authentic rural area it is important to take cash with you, cards do not work over there! After a scorching hot visit to see Segesta and the amphitheater, we asked the sales clerk at the tourist shop where we could go and eat well. She gave us two recommendations. Since the road for Pispisa was immediately on your right as you leave the parking lot in Segesta, we went there. It was fantastic! A dirt road takes you up, past incredible views of Segesta and the country side. We walked into an updated, yet rustic restaurant overlooking a pool and vineyards. Our waiter Nino told us what was fresh and available that day. We had an overwhelming anti pasta of bruschetta, mushrooms, caponata, zucchini, olives, and more. As well as the best ricotta I’ve ever eaten in my life! We each had different plates of pasta and then a slice of watermelon and two small cannolis. We also had two enormous pours of their house white wine, “grillo”. We drank at least five bottles of water and finished with an espresso. The entire meal cost €60! If we have the opportunity, we’ll be back.
