It is a fantastic restaurant with a simple decor. Service was amazing.  A great value menu with lots of small plates. The last savoury fish meal was very salty but the rest of the meal was delicious 😋

Delicious food prepared incredibly well, with a lovely atmosphere - very comforting, not pretentious at all, and with very helpful and passionate staff. I was honestly very impressed - Josh (one of the founders) worked the floor as our waiter when one of his staff was off sick, and he was just so excited about cooking he’d tell you all about the dishes if you asked! The menu is also based on what good quality ingredients are available, and I really support that. The price was also cheaper than other food of this quality that we’ve had in the past, plus with the lovely service, we increased our service charge. We will be back!

We had an early sitting (6:30) in early January, and it was full. Ans I know why. The food, wines, service and atmosphere was very very good.

It is an expensive meal, and when having the 13 dish menu, there is no choice, but I would highly recommend it. Plus get the wine pairing too. We even had a miss understanding on the us ordering the Wagyu steak, as it never came, but the meal was still very special.

Trying to pick out the flavours and ingredients in this beautifully constructed dishes was too hard, so we just sat back and enjoyed it.

My only regret was that I did not get a lift of the pairing wines we had. The red was especially delicious, but I don't know what it was. I asked and the owner promised to share the names, but as we were finishing the customers for the next service started arriving so it got busy!

Top notch food alongside top notch service. The food was truly exquisite and you can taste the hard work that’s been poured into each dish. Genuinely a great value tasting menu in my opinion! The service was friendly, kind and knowledgeable!
Highly recommend!

Fantastic 13 course dinner, delightful flavours and couldnt fault it. I think £68 is great value considering what you might pay for something similar in London. Service was impecabble, explaining all the dishes as they came out. Cocktails were sharp and well balanced for the meal. Sucker for a steak so was easily upsold the A5 wagyu with real wasabi, even my girlfriend who doesnt eat red meat gave it a go and went back for a second bite. The pasta dish, we both agreed was one of the best we've ever had. Cant wait to try out the al a carte restaurant being opened in Shoreditch.
