Beautiful park. Well maintained with a lot of attractions for the entire family. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The restaurants have wonderful selection of food. Plenty of historical sites and structures for photographers and history buffs.

Lovely park with lots to do. The museums are a little pricey. We chose not to park at Balboa park. If you park at San Diego Zoo, it’s about a 10-15 minute walk. Museums, playgrounds, shops, theaters, nice scenery, gardens, nice architecture, water fountains, and more!

What a great place.  The place is big. You will need 6 to 8 hours to see everything.  Restaurants are good. There are vendors for water and restrooms in conveniently placed locations. Have fun.

Balboa Park is amazing. So much little nooks and crannies of things to see and do. Great for day walks and museums. Also to simply enjoy the gardens. Many of the museums and the Japanese garden are paid attractions; however, one can simply stroll around and enjoy all the architectural beauty surrounded by all sorts of exotic plants. This place attracts all types of artists and is inspiring in many ways.
