Recently stayed at The Gale South for a girl's trip to escape the cold Midwestern winter. Our room had 2 queen beds, which were super comfortable, as well as a mini fridge, mini closet, 2 robes, and a Nespresso machine. The room was small but clean, with modern upgrades. The staff were accommodating and professional, with easy check in and out. We did not have an opportunity to explore the rooftop bar and pool. The hotel is conveniently located and near restaurants and shopping. The beach is across the street and it was wonderful having the opportunity to utilize the services from the Sagamore like their beach chairs and cruisers.

To start the stay the receptionist tried to charge me $100 because I was “lucky the room was ready that early”…. As if that didn’t scream red flag from the start. Then my friends and I ordered two small pizzas and ended up waiting 2 full hours and every time we tried to talk to the bartender to try and cancel she would just walk away. The moment we got the pizzas they were cold and very tiny for $50. I then went downstairs to talk to a manager and the only solution they offered was to remake the pizzas but at that point my appetite was pretty much gone and I just wanted to be refunded. I honestly have heard many bad things about this place and for the price I paid I will not be returning.

For the price of the room. The overall quality is terrible.

The doors to the rooms are paper thin. All night you can hear people walking up and down and talking.

Receptionist is rude and unhelpful for a concierge.

Strongly avoid a stay here.

This was a hard call for me. The stuff was very helpful as can be but the room was horrible. From hearing people in the hallway all night long. To having staying bathtowers with someone to  hair and lipstick. To turning over the pillows to see a huge stain on the pillow I just slept on. That's not talk about the stain that's on the clock and on the pictures on the wall. I made a mistake of not  inspecting the room to make sure it was clean before night fell as the room has very little late to begin. Hilton quality is gone down if they representing Hilton. The quality for cleanliness reminds me of a rundown motel off the highway. It's a shame the stuff this morning at the front desk as well as the restaurant stuff yesterday was the best part of this hotel at 10 out of 10 in my view
Next time I go to South Beach I'll stay at the Lowe's hotel across the street It appears to be cleaner.

Amazing! Just amazing… from the rooms to the staff. A smaller hotel but they make you feel like a big time guest.

From lounging by the rooftop pool, to the awesome rooms. The Gale is one to choose when staying at South Beach. The King Deluxe room that I had was spacious, and tidy, with a really comfy bed, and soft sheets. The bathroom with the rainfall shower was so big, but felt a little dark with the blind drawn, but I could not complain. Overall just a perfect little getaway from the chaos as the room was just so quiet and tranquil.

Breakfast in the Dolce restaurant was so good, and Adela was so polite and friendly. It was nice to be greeted back by name each time. Cristian in the evenings would also make sure you had an enjoyable meal and left feeling full.

The location for visiting Miami Beach is ideal and they have a shared beach club with the Sagamore so you can access the beach, but you’re only across the road.

I will 1000% be returning here on my next visit!
