Incredible museum that can easily take hours to finish. The amount of relics and stories from WWII stored at this museum is incredible.

Even if just to admire the planes and vehicles they have in their collection is worth it.

Overall it’s a very well done museum, of course telling the story of the war from the American perspective. Some parts are extremely moving and I wish I could’ve spent more time to read everything but I had a flight to catch.

The only thing I would comment on is the initial train ride took a very long time in line to get to, but otherwise the museum is detailed and the experience was seamless. It’s a must visit if you’re in New Orleans!

We didn't allow anywhere close to the amount of time this exhibit deserves to be fully experienced.  There are so many displays with so many knowledgeable volunteers giving a greater understanding of our part in WW2. The museum is broken up into different focuses which helps make it less overwhelming.  I look forward to returning and highly recommend this museum.

This is a must when visiting New Orleans! We enjoyed all the exhibits the planes and the tanks. This was definitely a reminder of the sacrifice that people made, and that freedom isn’t free. I would recommend this museum. It’s a great place to bring your family and teach them a little about history.

Amazing. Plan for a whole day. Good options for midday table service or cafe when you need a break. Beautiful modern well done museum with multiple buildings and engaging staff.  professional displays. So many amazing exhibits. Plan for the show times.

It's such an amazing place
The history, the stories, the time, and the care to bring this beautiful museum to life.
The details, especially the small ones. To bring to life the role that women had to take on. The stories about how some Americans had to overcome to fight in a war,because of the color of their skin, unjustified, but still a part of the history and it's one that needed to be told.
There is so much history to learn
This was my third time visiting, and I still am learning something new every time
It's definitely worth the visit
