Hands down, the best BBQ in the country! Seriously. I landed at the airport, and a friend suggested to get here as soon as they opened on a Saturday morning, so I did. We were in line about 30 minutes prior, and it was already getting down the hallway. It was so worth it. The most amazingly smoked ribs that just fall off the bone with flavor. The fire and ice pickles are a must try, as well as the brisket. It was seriously the best meal I've ever eaten. Wish I didn't live in Florida! The service was fast and everyone was so friendly. I can not say enough amazing things about this place.  I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

I’d heard that Pappy’s was the spot to try in St. Louis and it definitely lived up to the hype! The food was great, and the service was quick and efficient. Here’s a breakdown of my experience:

Because Pappy's is so popular and busy, You'll first line up in a long hallway to check out the menu and decide what to order. You then place your order at the counter before being seated. As a first timer, the setup can be a bit intimidating at first, but it turned out to be pretty easy and efficient. The food came out super fast too!

Everyone was friendly and the whole process felt pretty seamless. I have no complaints.

I ordered a BBQ sandwich, fries and baked beans. Everything was delicious and filing - it was tough to finish it all! The BBQ was juicy with plenty of flavor. You can also pick from a selection of BBQ sauces to add to your meat. I chose the Sweet Jane sauce and it definitely hit the spot. The fries were crisp and tasty and the baked beans complimented the meal perfectly. I would definitely come back for this meal and to try other items on the menu.

Overall Pappy's delivers good food with great service. It is a great spot for BBQ lovers and it's officially at the top of my St. Louis BBQ list. Check it out!

Stopped in and ordered ribs, brisket, burnt ends and the Frito Pie. Everything was pretty good... nothing Earth shattering. Jane's sweet sauce was our favorite. The food came out quick and there was decent parking in back. The brisket and burnt ends were ok which is why we gave it a 4 star.

I see why St. Louis is known for their ribs! We drove from Elizabethtown, North Carolina, on Christmas vacation to try ribs in St. Louis and you guys didn't let me down! Fall off the bone, juicy, tender, perfect amount of smoke, fat, and barbecue sauce! I've tried ribs and barbecue in just about every state in the U.S. and these are hands down the best I've had so far! I ordered the half rack with the Fire and Ice pickles and the French fries. My wife had the burnt ends, corn on the cob, and the potato salad. Everything we had was spot on DELICIOUS!! The burnt ends were perfect! Right amount of fat and sauce, not too smokey, tender and juicy, EXACTLY the way they're supposed to be! The corn on the cob was also perfect! Juicy, still a little crunch, perfectly seasoned with a slight char! PERFECT! Even the pickles were spot on! Perfect amount of spice and sweetness! You guys did your thing with this establishment!! We most definitely WILL be coming back!! Thank you guys for the wonderful experience and the out of this world food!!

This place was extremely busy but also extremely well organized. There was a short wait that was well worth the wait. We got Ribs, Burnt Ends, Smoked chicken and Sliced Brisket. For sides we got sweet potato fries, baked beans, green beans and pickles. The sliced brisket and pickles were my two favorite things.
