The whole place is one massive tourist trap with overpriced services and overrun by way too many tourists.

In the end I was glad to see it all because it was a very unique experience! Despite the inflated prices and hordes of tourists I do recommend visiting this place.

The floating village is truly amazing and and worth visiting. Also paddling through the flooded mangrove forest was very unique. Watching the sunset on the lake was beautiful.

Our best experience at a cruise in a freahwater lake which is an unimaginabelly hugh and connets from several south east asia countries river or if i didnt hear it wrong the glaciers from the himalayas too

Not worth coming - especially in Dry season.
Paid $40 for 2 people, have a boat that took us to a floating restaurant to watch the sunset?! Someone asked about visiting the forest - the lady from the restaurant said it isn’t available in dry season. So, $40 for 10mins on the boat and a visit to a restaurant. Btw, the sunset is not really special.

Very good time to see from October to December the lake as the small sea in the middle of Cambodia 🇰🇭 extended about 12000km ² but from February to June very small  water .

Kompong phluk village is nice trip for all tourists, 🚢 boat trip to Tonlesap lake and see village.
