I finally got to try Qadri Nalli Beef Biryani, and while the taste lived up to the hype, the overall experience was a bit mixed.

First off, the location is in a very busy, congested area, making it quite difficult to find parking. If you're planning to visit by car or bike, be ready for a struggle or consider taking a ride-hailing service.

Okay so this isn't a place you will go for the ambience, but boy was the nali biryani scrumptious!

There are two dishes only here, nali biryani and nali pulao. Both are with largely boneless beef that is well cooked and tender, melts in your mouth. The nali is optional for PKR 200 you get one big bone worth.

We were 9 people and are to our hearts content, ordered multiple limcas from the shop next door and drinks and the bill came to about PKR 9.5K.

Suggestions:

- Ask for Amjad for great service
- ask them to double the amount of beef with regular amount of rice.
- get the spicy option, it's not over spicy and if you like less spicy then tell them and they'll dilute the spices with some white rice
- the limca and leechy limca are solid, they also have pakola limca and the home grown '3 idiots' limca, both as very sweet if that's your cup of tea.

If you go there at night, yes the fastest way is through a rather small dark alley, just drive through. You'll survive :)

Parking is on the main street where all the traffic is. If you ask, Amjad can help you figure out where to park.

This was likely my initial and final visit to this place as the quality did not meet my expectations. The rice was of very poor quality, and the boti was significantly overcooked. The meat was not tender at all and I didn’t find any pleasure eating the biryani
