Recently had dinner at Saffron Banyan Tree Bangkok, and it was an unforgettable experience. The Thai food was absolutely delicious, perfectly capturing authentic flavors. It is a dinner in Saffron for celebrate my husband’s birthday. It is great experience in this restaurant. We ordered  7 course set menu. They also offered 2 free drinks, free b-day cake for their unforeseen  reservation-system error. Staffs is well caring our need and provide good recommendation of BEVERAGE. We like the environment and really felt relaxing, thank you;)

I asked for the papaya salad to be spicy and they came through 🥵 it was phenomenal. They have non alcoholic drinks that are so pretty and delicious, I definitely recommend trying. The vegetable tofu green curry was a delight, not as spicy as the papaya salad though. They let me have three different types of rice all were good, but the yellow was my favorite. Also the views are spectacular to look at while your eating! Great service too!

Food and views are great, but the service wasn’t up to the usually impeccable Banyan Tree standards. We came as a party of 8 and ordered the romance package plus brought 2 bottles of our own wine (very reasonable corkage fee). For some reason we booked outdoor tables for the dinner instead of eating in the dining room. While the outdoor area is great for cocktails and appetizers, it’s not designed for 8 people eating a 4+ course dinner. This was totally our fault. However it seamed that if we needed anything we had to flag down someone. I was also surprised at the wine selection, for such luxury hotel with fine dining I really expected the wine menu to match. So order the cocktails instead, they’re lovely and quite good.
