It’s a nice market but very touristic. You would see almost no locals eating there and mostly that would be tourists. The selection overall is fine but I would say mostly just for one time, so not very wide at all compared to other markets in mainland Thailand. There are a lot of grilled meat and seafood options which is a distinctive trait of this market. Prices are 2x (or even more) higher than in non-touristic places

It can get crowded to the point that it is hard to move.
The food stalls I would be careful since most of them don't have great practices.  Ice cream, certain fruits not cut yet or the restaurant are probably safer eats.

A lot of the shops sell the same things, fake handbags, elephant pants, some massage shops, elephant trinkets and fake jerseys.

I didn't see much any restrooms or places to sit or trash cans.

Nice market for souvenir hunters, great choice of food and drinks.  Plenty of bars with live music and also live bands.  I had the best ice cream in the world (allegedly),  in fact it was pretty good.

Went on a thursday eve, not too busy but enough to occupy us.. tried the best pancakes, mango sticky rice and even went to coco tams fire show.. good night overall!
