Tasty, fresh and delicious Thai food. Friendly service and a few different wine options beyond ‘red or white’ - which was a first find for me on the island! I felt this spot was a level above many others we tried during our time on Kho Kood. They offer some western options too (I didn’t try them) but they looked decent. I enjoyed the story of the family and how the place came to be and the nice friendly service from the team here at the Black Banana. As the stars would suggest - highly recommended.

Khao soi is awesome. Great staff and atmosphere.

Also had the mango and sticky rice and would rate it.

Just make sure you ask for food to be made for Thai people. You don't want a meal dumbed down for tourists

Food is simply amazing. Cocktails are freshly made, the pineapple rice and curry is delicious. The interior is also very cool. Strongly recommend.

Very good food and friendly staff! We had fried rice with pork, tom yum and mango sticky rice. Everything was super delicious and cheap. Staff if very nice and friendly. I was expecting a lot of mosquitoes since the restaurant is on the water but there wasn't a singe mosquito. Definitely recommend!
