We stayed in both the Glass Igloo and the SnowHotel.
The glass igloo is a great experience, they are quite tiny and you can ask the staff at reception to turn the heat up for you.
Our front door did freeze shut, but we were able to get out and they sent maintenance to check it out for us.
Dinner was included at the main reception area and was very underwhelming, considering the price paid for the stay. Very disappointing and the toilets/area was constantly dirty, it was also quite cold inside.

The snowhotel, was amazing to see and experience, however, being better prepared for the visit would be more ideal.
It was uncomfortable and of course was cold, but you do get a thermal sleeping bag and sleeping bag to sleep in.
The rooms are open to the public (people walking through and looking at all the rooms etc) until 8pm.
Dinner was at the restaurant, which was nice enough but again a little underwhelming.

Tickets to Snowman World were included in the price, however, I wouldn't visit again, definitely not worth the price.

The staff were all lovely and helpful.

There's isn't anything to do there and definitely not a place for children, though there were many and unfortunately not controlled by their parents.

Overall, a great once in a lifetime experience, however very expensive for the stay.
I was disappointed with the stay and dinner for both nights, and don't believe it is worth the cost.

We stayed in a glass igloo for 5 adults for 1 night in January and it was great. The igloo was comfortable and warm, with a nice bathroom and all amenities were catered for. The beds were especially comfortable and the view through the roof was amazing.
The other facilities were good, with being able to tour the snow hotel and drink at the Ice bar and Sky bar and use the sauna if you wished to, as well as the snow slide.
We had dinner in the Log restaurant, which was very disappointing for the price that we paid. It was a buffet dinner with a few choices of meals, but it was mainly a beef stew and salmon, with cold meats and salads, so not the range and quality that we expected for 49 euro per head plus drinks. The desserts were tasteless and the red and white wine that we ordered were both undrinkable due to the taste.
Breakfast was included and was better than the dinner, but could still improve.

We had dinner at the snow hotel. The food was adequate, but then I guess you don’t go for the food. The service was great and Gloria did her very best to make it enjoyable…and succeeded. We then went to the snow bar which was great although I have no idea what was wrong with the barman. I can’t imagine a more miserable person and also the fact they give the kids one very small drink for €6 with no top up and very very carefully and with every effort to restrict the amount of the adult shots to the absolute minimum for €11 each. How much do you want to make? Surely you can be a bit more relaxed and less money conscious. Takes away from the experience. So in summary if you want to spend a fortune and have a reasonable enjoyable experience then go for it…most countries don’t have a snow restaurant at home. But if you value your hard earned money and don’t want average food and a terrible barman then save your money and spend your time elsewhere in this great country. I would never go again!

Genuinely the best hotel I've stayed in. Coming from a country with lots of light pollution, if you just LOOK UP, you will see more stars than you'll have ever seen. Then at night the aurora alarm in the rooms wake you up when someone detects the auroras (you can turn this off if you don't want it). The auroras are absolutely gorgeous, and it's very cool to sleep under the stars. Definitely would recommend this hotel, typically for a maximum stay of 1 or 2 nights.

It was a pleasure stay at the Arctic SnowHotel & Glass Igloos!

We stayed for one night and we enjoyed staring at the clear sky and stars in our Glass Igloo.

We had lunch and dinner at the Kota Restaurant, which were delicious with wood fire in the middle of the restaurant.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The transfers between the hotel and city centre + airport were comfortable.

We highly recommend it!
