Quintessential Paris bistro with super nice street views from the covered terrace. Staff is super nice, but food is slow coming out of the kitchen, so don’t be in a hurry! Beef fondant and frites was delicious and super generously served. Grilled Camembert cheese with honey was sinful! Highly recommended!

The Manageress started shouting at us in a frenzy because we sent back a main course as the quality of the meat tasted bad. It was replaced but they expected payment for both dishes. I have never been shouted at so much in a restaurant. Disgusting service from the manageress.  The other waiter was quite pleasant. This ruined the evening for us and the rest of the people in the restaurant as they could hear her screaming.   So unprofessional.

If I could give 0 stars to this awful place I would. APPALLING service. At best the food was below average, at worst it was disgusting.

The baguette we got served was very poor quality and tasted like canteen bread - it tasted like it was bought from the worst boulanger in town. The steak tartare we got served looked like some random off brand mince you would buy from your worst local supermarket. We decided to ask for it to be taken back and be replaced with something that didn’t taste like I was gonna get salmonella the next day. Whilst they agreed to replace the abysmal dish, they insisted that we paid for it in full afterwards (never seen this happen in any other restaurant I’ve ever been to). The waitress/manager proceeded to SHOUT at us for a solid 10 minutes after we said that it wasn’t fair for us to have to pay 18 euros for something we didn’t eat and was poor quality (in our opinion).

Worst customer service I’ve ever received in my life. Wouldn’t have left such a bad review if it wasn’t for these insane interactions with staff. Absolutely appalling. I wish I was fluent in French to effectively convey to them how outrageous and unprofessional their behaviour was.

The best thing about this place was the mid quality food and mildly obnoxious waiter who eventually complied.

The worst part, was the awful manager who screamed at us after we tried to change a steak tartare that was of VERY POOR QUALITY. As a steak tartare lover I was disappointed at best with the quality of the meat and decided to send it back. The waiter complied and provided me with a dish with slightly more taste.

At the end when receiving the bill I expected that the tartare would naturally be removed given that having 2 bites does not count as being eaten. However to our surprise they hadn't removed it.

After going back and forth, the manager gave instructions to the waiter to make us pay half - still not fair considering the state of whatever it was that was supposed to be on that plate.

Then after calling the manager she hurled absolute abuse and aggression towards us and finally screamed that she'd remove it but we weren't welcome in Paris.

Now after all that hassle I think I'd rather just buy a packet of dog food as at least then one of my senses would be spared.
