The food was delicious and great environment right next to the water.
We ordered the beet salad, sardines, red snapper (they let you choose the fish if you want) and for dessert the crunchy balloon with ice cream.
The service was a bit slow even the restaurant wasn’t at full capacity and the we thought the price was a bit high but worth it overall.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible restaurant, and I can't recommend it enough! The stunning view of Ammoudi Bay, especially during sunset, was absolutely breathtaking.

The food was delicious!

What truly stood out was the extraordinary service. Our waiter was incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our meal. Their recommendations were spot on, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible restaurant, and I can't recommend it enough! The stunning view of Ammoudi Bay, especially during sunset, was absolutely breathtaking. The vibrant colors of the sky reflected on the water created a truly magical atmosphere.

The food was nothing short of delicious!

I highly recommend reserving in advance, as it can get busy.

Ps: there is a free bus that takes you down to the restaurant from the parking lot.

For our last night on Santorini we decided to make reservations at Ammoudi for a sunset dinner. We arrived a little early due to the shuttles being readily available right away at the top of the hill. Just be aware there is a lot of posted info on the shuttles but they really run in their own schedule.
Ok so yes we arrived early and we were greeted right away and the staff were pleasant. We sat right away and the wait staff came over promptly. We inquired about splitting the check for our party of 8 and they were able to make the accommodations. The drinks started the night and they weren't so great, I ordered a vodka cranberry and they seemed to have what I asked until I received a vodka grapefruit. Some of the other drinks were a little off as well but not the end of the world. Next was our Greek salad, it was definitely not the best we've had. The cheese wasn't super soft, it came with white onions instead of red and just didn't taste the best. Next was dinner , I ordered the chicken as I'm not a fish eater and it was ok. I'd say it's definitely not a half of chicken as listed, more like a single chicken breast with some sweet potato puree. It came with a decent chili sauce there just wasn't enough to eat all the chicken with. My wife's seafood pasta was ok and again nothing special. I'm not sure how their very expensive fish dishes are but hopefully they are better than what we had.
The atmosphere is great and we enjoyed a great sunset.
If you choose Ammoudi you may very well have a better experience than we did so enjoy

A wow experience for lunch. Excellent service and delicious food. Try to get a spot on the upper deck, it’s much better than the lower level in my opinion. Beautiful panoramic views of the ocean. They have a diverse menu with salads, ceviche, fish, and much more. Also a good selection of cocktails and mock-tails. The server staff went above and beyond to make our experience a memorable one. Will definitely try to come back one day.
