We had nice pork belly and fish.
Thank you chef for cooking nice meal and staff that help with the food preparation and serving too.

We stopped here as part of the Nicetravel  Golden Circe tour.

The Iceland free-range lamb was so tender, tasty, very flavorful, and mild.

The potatoes were seasoned well, firm but not too soft.

The basmati rice was a bit dry and not too much Tumeric to make it more middle-eastern.

This is a cafeteria style restaurant we went to during our Golden Circle tour. Our tour guide recommended the Icelandic lamb shank here so I got it grilled. I have to say, based only on the meat itself, it is the BEST lamb meat I had in Iceland. It was PERFECTLY cooked (slightly on the rarer side as I like it), and the gravy did nothing but enhance the flavor of the meat. The tour guides are right when they say the lamb here tastes of herbs and blueberries thanks to all the free roam time they have in the hills!

Delicious cake with a view - what more could you want! We popped in for a quick snack before visiting the geysers and were really impressed by the large number of vegan options available. We had the caramel apple cake and chocolate pear cake. Both were absolutely delicious! We'd would have liked larger portions, but that's just us being greedy! The staff were friendly, and there's plenty of seating overlooking the geysers across the road. Lovely little spot for lunch!

Came in with a school tour. The food was incredible! We were presented with tomato soup and fresh bread. They also  prepared a delicious buffet with lamb, chicken, and salmon and veggies. The desert buffet was lovely with delicious mousse, cream puffs, fruit and cakes with coffee or tea. My students were all in a food coma after this one! Highly recommend!
