I recently had dinner at this restaurant with a few friends. According to their website, it’s a Michelin-starred establishment, so my expectations were naturally quite high. The set menu is priced at €95 per person, which seemed reasonable for such a venue.

However, once the dinner began, it became clear that the experience fell far short of Michelin-star standards. The service was lacking in several ways: wine was served to men before women, cutlery was not replaced between courses, and, most surprisingly, dishes were served to be shared between two people rather than individually plated.

While the food itself wasn’t terrible, it certainly didn’t meet the level one would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. Overall, I left feeling quite disappointed.

Enjoyed most of the dishes from the tasting menu. Pasta dish was a bit too simple and too heavy, was not impressed with the main pork course neither that followed after. Last course desert was OK, was too full and tipsy to enjoy it. The little nibbles were delicious, liked them all. Generous pairing wine servings, was a bit too much for me personally. 2.5 hours was not enough to finish the meal and drinks without rushing at the end which is a pity.

Outstanding Michelin star quality food in a relaxed and friendly environment. Probably the best meal I’ve ever had. I simply cannot pick a favourite dish because everything was superb. Our server Charlie and sommelier Valeria were extremely friendly and attentive. I’ll be back!

I’m making this review 7 months after eating here because I’m still thinking about this meal. We booked the chef table with accompanying wine pairing. It was the most exciting and memorable meal we had in Dublin.

Start to finish the food and service was exceptional. We were greeted by the chief at the start of our meal and his skill and ability to pair flavors is unmatched.  The Monk fish entree was one of the best dishes we've ever had. The service was very attentive and approachable- explaining each dish in detail!  If you're in Dublin I would not miss out on the opportunity to experience the food, service and atmosphere.  We can't wait to go back!
