Beautiful beach lots to explore. Food outlets on the beach. Sunbed hire. Fantastic views about a 20-minute stroll from Alvor narrow roads if walking but well worth the visit. Parking is available with disabled bays.

5 Stars Beach.
Crystal clear water in the morning, up until lunch time. Long distance with shallow water, so perfectly safe for kids.
Clean sand. You can rent "lounge" area for 15€ for a couple of hours or 20€ for a full day.
Opportunity to ride jetski by yourself or with a friend. ( don't need experience from before. 50€ for 20minutes ).

Amazing medium sized beach and series of cute smaller beaches in between cliffs. Access by car very close to the main beach itself, parking either at a paid parking lot just before the beach or before that on a free parking lot or street still in a very walkable distance.

I parked up in the parking lot and went off hiking up on the cliffs. There are paths that go all over the place so you can explore. But be very careful you can slip off the edges very easily. Be sure only to do this when it is dry and did not rain, because then it will be no fun, trust me. I walked all the way  to the next city which is an approximately 4.5 km and kept going. A total of 14 km hike I did in 5:15h with some stops for beer 😃
Between parking in the parking lot is free, but it is very dusty so when you come back, your car will be very dirty. Down at the bottom, you can explore all around on the sandy beaches. There are caves and holes that you can walk through if the water is not too far up. Beware that you don’t get pulled into the ocean. I would recommend this place. Good for people all ages - kids, dogs whatever!
There are also some restaurants and some snack bars around by the parking lot so if you’re hungry or thirsty….

The beach was great, nice sand. Waves not too high.
Parking was full, we were quite far away from the beach. I would advise to arrive 0900-1000 at least to get a good spot
