Greeting and order taking were friendly and prompt. Food was generally pretty good, until... one of our grill sea bream was found to be undercooked where the meat was still stuck to the bone near the head. The fish was 3/4 eaten but that portion was unedible. We reported it to the waiter and he gave us a blank stare and said "Most of it is already eaten. I can take it back and cook the remaining portion. Do you want that?" It was the attitude of how he said it and the look he gave us that really was upsetting. Moving on...

We were in a rush to catch the show next door (Reservatório da Mãe D'Água das Amoreiras), so the waiter made sure he was able to fast track our order. The service was attentive even when it became full. The space was comfortably warm even though they had the door and a few windows cracked open. The food was delicious and although we did not have the house special (pataniscas de bacalhau e arroz c/ feijão vermelho), the waiter recommend we try them so he brought over two pataniscas. Everything was amazing to say the least including the banter with our waiter. We liked it so much that we returned for dessert and a drink after the show.

We visited this restaurant on Monday 26th August. A list of restaurants was recommended to us by our tuk-tuk driver and guide, and we picked the one which was closer to our hotel. It was a good choice! The food was amazing, the service excellent. We had lamb chops, seabream and duck, everything was perfect. We finished our dinner with a 10-year old port, skipping dessert.
I totally recommend it to anyone who loves good food.

Excellent local restaurant. It has an extensive menu and very reasonable prices.  I had an excellent Magret de canard au poivre today but also have excellent fish dishes here previously.  It is highly popular among locals and it has been full every time that I have been (and also, most times when I have walked by). Service is fast so while I have not had to wait, I would guess the potential wait times are also reasonable. I would highly recommend trying it if you are in the area.

Absolutely amazing food. Very friendly staff. Location is nice and clean. Reasonably priced. The only thing is that they brought us a bunch of starters and a side dish without us asking for them. They don't accept non Portuguese credit cards.
