My recent stay at Hotel Vincci Palace in Valencia was appalling. For a four-star hotel, the experience was laughable. The price was steep, but the quality was nonexistent.

The breakfast was a joke. They couldn't even provide a cappuccino unless you paid extra or were an external guest. I watched as they made cappuccinos for others while telling me it wasn't possible. The scrambled eggs were cold, and food replenishment was slow. To top it off, a staff member was eating directly from the buffet while refilling it.

The rooms were tiny and poorly lit, with a dysfunctional lighting system. I booked a premium room with two separate beds but was initially given a small room with a double bed. It took a complaint to get moved, and even then, I'm not sure I got what I paid for.

To add insult to injury, the bathroom amenities were laughably inadequate. A room for two people had toiletries for only one person. Are they seriously suggesting that we share razors and toothbrushes? It's absurd.

Basic amenities were ridiculously overpriced—a small bottle of water cost €2.50. What's even more appalling is that my friend, who was staying with me, had already expressed these same complaints to the staff, and they did absolutely nothing to address them. It's clear that customer feedback falls on deaf ears here.

Overall, this hotel failed to deliver on every level. Avoid it unless you enjoy being ripped off and ignored.

Very well located hotel, close yo city center and main attractions. Metro station Colon is just a fee minutes away.
Room was spacious and clean, the bed was huge and really comfortable. The only downside was that being a corner room was very noisy, we could hear all the noise from the street and from the bar near the hotel. But the balcony was really enjoyable after a long day to relax with a glass of Cava and admire the nice buildings surrounding the hotel.
Breakfast was good, mostly local tasty products, fresh juice and pastry and good coffee.
Staff is friendly and very attentive.

Visited this hotel in this location for the first time today, February 12, here’s my view so far. Arrived by car and the hotel has an underground carpark for 16.50 euros, if you have anything other than a small vehicle you’ll not get in the lift, yes, the lift. It’s tight, however works well.
The hotel corridors are not to my taste, I would say a bit tacky. The room was very dark, with no kettle (however when we asked for one it was brought to our room promptly which was good other than the paper cups), the remote for the tv only changes channels (not a full remote control) meaning we were unable to change the language. The safe asks you to enter your credit card to secure your belongings, this is a new one for me. Cost for B&B for our two night stay £274.
