Great crêpes and galettes for breakfast and beyond. The place is a historical old building which is narrow for strollers to get inside. We tried the chicken galette with pesto, crepe with Gotland strawberries (not on the menu but todays extra item) and a kids crepe with cheese and egg. All three was satisfying and the service was fast probably (at monday lunch time). I also liked their coffee. Give it a try if you’re craving for crepes.

Surprisingly they actually had several vegen options, I went for vegen crepes with chocolate and ice cream. Little too much chocolate, even for me 😉

No issue getting seated, ordering ( very helpful staff ) and getting the food, but paying and leaving was a different question (very busy), I think it took about 35 minutes (with several friendly reminders).

Strykjärnet is a historical building and an experience, recommend.

Walked up to this restaurant from the Cruise port. A terrific spot, had galettes which were delicious and filling. We got straight in for an early lunch at1130, noted as much busier later but it was midsummer holiday. Sat out on a balcony, a most enjoyable relaxing lunch, with slick and friendly service by a team obviously used to being very busy. Very good value indeed, maybe assisted by the exchange rate. Hope to be back again.

Great galettes, do not underestimate the sizes. Their own cider is also really good with a hint of fermentation.

We went there just an hour before dinner and aparently all tables are reserved but they let us in for fika. The best crepe i had in Gotland . Both me and my husband loved our sweet crepes. Though the staff seem very young. They seems to know what theyre doing.
