By a random happenstance, we stopped by for a dinner as google brought us to the closest restaurant. What a happy coincedence. It is an amazing place. The food is unbelievably good, unique, and delicious. The experience is beyond describable. The most amazing service one can expect. I would travel back here from Texas just to eat at this place again.

Very happy to have visited Stiva Veglia. A very welcoming and warm gem in the Swiss Alps. The staff was super welcoming and personal, the atmosphere cozy and we loved how relaxed it is to order from the menu. You can pick a set of courses, or choose your own. We were too full to go for a 4th course, even though initially we intended so, and the the staff and kitchen were very accommodating. There is also a dedicated vegetarian/vegan menu with many dishes. We also appreciated that members of the kitchen, including the chef, would come to the table to present their creations and interact. Overall, a perfect night. We will surely come back to try the rest of the menu.

We visited this hidden gem for our dinner date last night. We had a 5 course meal.

The food was amazing and every course meals surprised our pallets. The Chef de cuisine and his wife were very friendly and greeted us from the beginning. We have visited lot of gourmet restaurants but certainly Stiva Veglia is one of the best in our list. The ambiance is cosy. We felt if they had a background music would be nice but there are nothing to complaint to be honest. The service was very nice and well informed about their Menu. They have a wide range of wines to select from.

Some of the things to love about this restaurant is that they respect the local and regional ingredients and elevate them into something nice and delicious with high quality plating. And some of the meals would be brought by the Chefs which is very cool.

We felt very comfortable throughout our whole evening. We had a small conversation with the Chef de cuisine and his wife, Gastgeberin at the end.

This restaurant deserves a michelin star.

We stopped here spontaneously as it was well rated and after having dinner here, I can fully agree with the rating. I am not an expert of Michelin restaurants but I thoroughly enjoyed the food "journey" here. Everything was really nicely done and small details of flavour combinations and designing made it a pleasure. On top of that we were offered top taste many small delicious specialties in addition to the main menu.

All the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Would definitely recommend it.
