Cozy clean and chic English Pub with amazing food!

This place is an institution.  Amazing food, maybe the best burger in the city.  Soft bun, perfect patty, American cheese - *chefs kiss* - oh and the fries!

Also had their steak, pork chop and plenty more.

And their sticky toffee pudding is the best in the city, without a doubt!

Great beer selection, as well as excellent cocktails and mocktails .

Service is always friendly and attentive. This is a perfect spot for a casual meal, but also a special occasion.  They somehow manage to accommodate both.

Maple Leaf Tavern has a cozy atmosphere and delicious beverage & food offerings. We dined in during the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, and I got the fire roasted turkey dinner special. The appetizers and frosted mug beer also did not disappoint.

Great food! Very friendly staff. We had a group of 8 and one of our party is allergic to gluten, there were a few hick ups and our server ended up comping the meal.

Had Pretty solid burger here it wasnt exactly a pub style burger but it hit all the right notes. Others were content with the tavern pie as well.  The menu is fairly limited but everything was delicious and quality. The service was quick and the location is very nice and has that classic British tavern look and feel.

We were fortunate to have dinner last Friday night at this establishment and our wonderful server Kendra made sure that our evening was a delightful one. Stor familjebrunch på söndag, personalen var utmärkt, några av oss hade ostburgare, det var utsökt. Ägg Benedictus och de andra traditionella frukostarna åtnjöt grundligt av några av oss också. Kaffe var också fantastiskt, fick höra att det var från Pilot Coffee

Läcker middag med kompis i går kväll. Cocktails var mycket bra och maten var utsökt. Vi hade ribben och det var mer än tillräckligt för två. Rekommenderar starkt brysselkålarna.

Varm och inbjudande, fantastisk service och maten var höjdpunkten i vår tid i Toronto. Sist men inte minst, den bästa gammaldags whisky cocktail någonsin.

Vi åkte hit på en ny lördag med vår son och dotter i lag. Mycket besviken över maten. Jag beställde avokado toast och toasten var stenhård; inte säker på hur du kan göra rostat bröd så hårt. Sconen var bra, men som någon annan nämnde var mer en kaffekaka. Glad att se att de hade havremjölk som mjölkersättning. Alla andras måltid var tillräcklig. Så med tanke på kostnaden jämfört med kvalitet, skulle vi inte återvända. Tjänsten var uppmärksam.

Vår familj samlades på Maple Leaf Tavern för söndagsbrunch. Vad kan gå fel med brunch? Först, stenhårt oätligt rostat bröd! För det andra, gummiaktiga äggröra. För det tredje, scones som inte var scones, bara någon slags kaffekaka. Sammantaget en underlägsen brunch. Den värsta delen? Vi var där tidigt, innan licenstimmar, men när dryckerna kunde serveras, gick inte någon av servicepersonalen att fråga oss.

Tjänsten var inte fantastisk, men det var okej. Vi anlände i tid för vår bokning men de var inte redo för oss. Värdinnan skulle sätta oss (eftersom det fanns många tomma bord), men chefen sa till henne att sitta oss i baren medan de förberedde ett bord för oss. . . så det var lite konstigt, men saker sorterades och vi fick en trevlig monter inom ett par minuter. Flera olika människor tycktes ta hand om oss, så serviceflödet var lite av, snarare än att ha en dedikerad server för bordet. Men våra drycker var aldrig tomma, och maten kom inom en rimlig tidsram. Vi skyndade oss inte heller att lämna när vi slutade. Maten var läcker, alla kurser var bättre än den sista och den första kursen var fantastisk! Deras klibbiga kola-pudding är oöverträffad. De kunde också hjälpa oss med våra kostbegränsningar. Sammantaget en härlig upplevelse.

Vi bor i grannskapet men hade aldrig ätit här. Vad en pärla. Tjänsten och maten var utmärkt. Det har en mysig och härlig atmosfär. Vår servitris frågade om vi hade några livsmedelsproblem. Vi sa nej, även om vi faktiskt gjorde det. (Vi försökte inte göra väsen). När min man inte ätit sin maträtt på grund av hans kostfråga frågade servitrisen varför han inte ätit det. Så snart han förklarade att han inte kunde äta vete, tog hon maträtten och återvände med en ny vetefri version. Jag förväntade mig inte att en svamppjäs skulle vara något speciellt. Det var utsökt. Min son och make hade en chokladmousse och klibbig kola pudding till efterrätt. De var fantastiska. Och för att de visste att jag var där för min födelsedag och inte beställt en efterrätt för mig själv, tog servitrisen mig ett glas pf mousserande vin och ett kort undertecknat av all personal! Min son frågade mig varför jag inte skulle ha valt en känd enhet för min födelsedags middag så jag skulle veta att jag skulle älska middagen. Jag är så glad att jag valde Maple Leaf Tavern. Vad en fantastisk hitta. Jag rekommenderar det starkt. Dessa människor excel på kundtjänst. Tack!

Knappt en taverna. Riktigt bra mat, väl förberedd och serverad av utmärkt vänta personal. Caesar sallad är underbar med fantastisk tysk bacon på toppen. Lamm Lasagne var utmärkt och grillad striploin bara bra. Höjdpunkten var potatisarna i tryffelsmör och toppade med kyld fois gras. Stora cocktails och bra vinlista.

Gör en reservation - det verkar boka mycket snabbt, särskilt på fredag och lördagskvällar - och sedan njut av fantastisk service och en fantastisk måltid. Arktisk char var fisken speciell denna kväll och fisken speciellt tappar inte. Min man hade Wagu biff som han grundligt haft tillsammans med några Charred broccoli i en bbq och jordnötsås som jag hade turen att kunna smaka. De har ett bra urval av viner och cocktails. Tyvärr hade vi inte plats för dessert. Riktigt trevlig atmosfär också. Njut av!

Första gången på denna restaurang i Leslieville-området (gamla stadsdel som genomgår gentrifikering) i Toronto. Beläget i en mycket gammal byggnad som har blivit vackert renoverad har restaurangen varit öppen i ungefär tre år. Vänlig service och bra mat. Vi delade en burgare, som var bra, hade intressanta cocktails och förrätter (grillad broccoli med finhackad jordnötsås var en stor hit som var korv sampler). Specialerbjudanden när vi var där ingår en fantastisk anka bröst och bra arktisk char. Choklad & jordnötssmör och klibbiga toffee desserter var också bra. En tad dyr men bra kvalitet och noggrann förberedelse av maten gjorde det värt.

Blev familjen här för födelsedag och vi lyckades verkligen! Det är inte Maple Leaf Tavern från tidigare, det är super coolt! Inredningen är varm och inbjudande Personalen uppmärksam och vänlig och professionell Kocken kom även till vårt bord för att förklara mat och förde oss saker "av menyn" så coolt! ! Min höjdpunkt var lasagne! En sådan kreativitet tar på sig en italiensk klassiker! Vi ÄLSKAR DENNA PLATS! ! ENDAST GÅR BAKA! ! Kepsar och allt! !

Nu ska jag vara ärlig - jag gick aldrig in i eller nära den gamla Maple Leaf Tavern, men jag associerade det alltid med sketchy människor. . . . . . du vet. . . den typ av plats där de gamla drunkarna röker utanför dagen in och dag ut. Så när jag letade efter en plats att äta, hoppade den här inte på mig, trots att jag var medveten om att den hade köpt och renoverats och var något nytt. Men efter att ha fått en rekommendation i en FB-grupp för det bestämde jag mig för att min veckodatum med min dotter skulle vara här. Tja, låt mig berätta för dig - den nya Maple Leaf Tavern gör ingen besvikelse. Först - atmosfären. Det är fantastiskt. Dimmed belysning och chill lounge stil musik (som var ärligt rätt av min spellista) var perfekt. Sedan var det kundtjänst, vilket var exceptionellt. Och när jag säger exceptionellt menar jag att det var bortom mina förväntningar (och de är höga). Personalen där är avsikt att göra din måltid och uppleva det bästa som det kan vara. Då maten - wow. WOW. Vi båda beställde burger som var fantastisk. Om du kan föreställa dig en otrolig hemlagad stor mac (samma smaker), så var det vad det var. Första besök på denna restaurang medan du är i stan på affärsresa. Arbetskollegan var stolt över att göra bokning eftersom detta var en vanlig måste besöka plats för dem. Reception: Hälsade och sittande snabbt men inte ett alltför mottagligt välkomnande. Server: hon blev tydligt skuggad av en ny anställd men misslyckades med att presentera sig själv eller den nya medarbetaren. Under de två timmarna besökte servern (och chefen vid ett tillfälle) "vi har inte det" många gånger. Dvs. Ingen tranbärsjuice, pepparrot, mintsås eller gelé, vanligt kaffe (ja ... inget vanligt kaffe!). Måste ha varit 7 eller mer "vi har inte" uttalanden under vårt besök och våra önskemål var inte vanliga för den beställda maten. Mat: Caesarsallad var bra och tillräckligt för att gruppen skulle dela som en starter. Remsan av tjock bacon var enastående. Fågeln var beredd bra men under-kryddat och skulle ha varit perfekt med mintsås Biff var lite överdrivet men välsmakande Laxen kokades mycket bra och del var generös Glaserade morötter var mycket välsmakande och skulle ha varit bättre om de var heta. Potatis, blomkål och betor var oremarkerade För a la carte priserna var sidopartierna för små Sticky toffee pudding var tillräckligt för att vi alla skulle kunna njuta av. Större problem med livsmedeltemperaturen eftersom det mesta av maten var ljummet Min kollega var verkligen generad av detta besök eftersom detta är en av deras favorit restauranger och detta besök låt oss ner. För priset, inte säker på att jag skulle behöva besöka igen

Vi har varit i Maple Leaf några gånger. Det är lite av en frisk luft i ett område som saknar något i trevligare restauranger. Första gången vi åkte var före 6: 00 så de hade en härlig fisk special och min vän hade en utmärkt cheeseburger och öl för $ 20. Andra gången vi inte var så lyckliga. Maten är fortfarande utmärkt, men prissättningen är udda. De har fortfarande $ 20 cheeseburger och pommes frites samt ett urval av inträde måltider. Deras a la carte-meny är dock mycket dyr. Stek var $ 54 och det innehåller inte några sidor (cirka $ 8 varje!). Priserna åt sidan mat och service är mycket bra. Bokningar rekommenderas. BTW, vi har aldrig haft tur med att kolla på deras meny på hemsidan. Det verkar alltid vara obefintligt.
