Honestly the elegance, ambiance, and cocktails are unmatched at the bar. However the manager is so incredible rude, immature, and unprofessional. Not exactly what you would expect for a hotel of this level. I understand how reservations can be tricky to manage. I actually had second hand embarrassment for the manager who spoke to us so domineeringly. Beware of the manager who throws temper tantrums if you don’t have a reservation.

I will never stay at this place again and don’t plan on making a special reservation for your significant other here. I had called and made reservations over the phone and they booked me for the wrong night. I had scheduled a special night with my lady with flowers and several things and the hotel representatives basically told me to get lost. Be careful with booking here because they do not take care of their customers. Will never recommend this place to anyone. I have gotten better service at a motel 6. I decided to stay the night to try and keep this situation from ruining my girlfriend’s birthday night. They charged me for both nights and two sets of massages and told me there was nothing they could do. Once they get your money they are done with you. This place is nothing but a money grab and take my advice. Do not come here. There are many better places in the DFW area that will treat you like an actual human being.

Pure luxury.

We had a 5 star experience the entire visit. Our room was amazing, and the beds were so comfortable. We loved how the rooms were decorated, and all the mirrors that were in the room! It helped when two adults were trying to get ready for events during our visit.

All staff went above and beyond, from the bar, to the pool. Something that was very noteworthy was the man at the pool who periodically checked in with me and was always bringing by treats and drinks to try. I felt like a queen.

We were taken back by how attentive and thoughtful our Butler Shanelle was by re-creating our wedding flowers in a bouquet and with printing a wedding photo and placing it bedside, when we stayed here for our 1st wedding anniversary.  Our stay was a full circle for us because I proposed to my wife in the hotels restaurant a few years ago, a time when I could not afford to stay at the mansion, so I surprised my wife with staying here for our 1st anniversary.  We hadn't ever actually stayed here before.

Jordan was very nice and knowledgeable when checking us in.

We are now considering staying here again at least once a year!

All of the staff were very nice, especially the room attendants who would completely stop to acknowledge us.

We visited the bar for dinner, and the drinks were fantastic, and the bar menu was a pretty good contrast to the hotel restaurantwhich is a really good thing, we ordered the hamburger and it was perfect!  All the staff work together to handle the patrons, but we were primarily served by Felipe, who did excellent to cater to our specific requests.  We can't wait to visit during a night with live music. This place is very unique and delivers a yesteryear atmosphere that is unrivaled in Dallas.
