Cannot talk about the rooms though the hotel amenities look amazing! We had dinner for our anniversary there and Brian (our waiter) and the whole team did a fantastic job to make it memorable! The food was of very high quality (especially the seared scallops and the seafood platter)! We can highly recommend going here for a special occasion or just because you want to celebrate life! Happy to come back soon!

When we came to the factory, a really sweet lady gave us a tour and explained how the breads are made from start to finish.  Afterward we went to the little shop, that you can see in the pictures. They sell very beautiful bracelets, necklaces, earnings, and also little animal figures. Everything is made by hand as you will learn during the tour.

From its modest beginnings, Kazuri Beads flourished, expanding its workforce to over 120 dedicated artisans by 1988. By 2001, the factory’s dedication to ethical practices earned it membership in the World Fair Trade Federation, underscoring its role in setting industry standards for social responsibility and sustainable trade.

In 2021, Kazuri Beads strengthened its presence in Kenya and neighboring regions through a strategic partnership with Image Nairobi Limited, enhancing the distribution of its exquisite handcrafted jewelry and pottery. Today, the factory continues to employ over 100 women, producing artisan ceramic beads and pottery that are treasured worldwide for their craftsmanship and cultural significance.
