My wife and I stopped by for a quick lunch as we past through Stockholm; it was the perfect day to sit out on the terrace.  Both the food and cocktails were wonderful, would recommend to anyone downtown looking for an afternoon delight!

Probably not the best place for celebrating birthday. Misleading booking form on their page where you can check the box that you’re there to celebrate birthday makes you think they will somehow pay attention to this like they normally do in other restaurants, but in reality they simply ignore this. If you’re there for an ordinary dinner then this is a great place. Generous portions, Astoria toast and Caesar salad were super delicious! Generally great vibe. The service got slow at the end of the evening but the waiters were friendly.

What a wonderful experience. Hot spot in Stockholm with limited availability. But stubborn as we are, we decided to simply walk in: it did not require any negotiations with the loverly staff but they immediately offered us a seat at the bar with direct view onto the kitchen. That in itself was an amazing experience to watch the well-orchestrated machinery of the chefs and sous-chefs who with love and diligence prepared to perfection the menu items in front of our eyes.
And obviously, the food was spectacular!! The toast Astoria and the hamachi tartar were phantastic starters, followed by the most tender cod and charred salmon “tataki” which were a tremendously well balanced bouquet for our taste buds, absolutely on point.
Unquestionably, we were defenseless in resisting the desire for dessert: So we gave in and took a rhubarb white chocolate mousse with lemon sorbet as well as a crème brulee with Thail basis and strawberries: they felt like an entry card to paradise…

One word - DELICIOUS.

Absolutely the best tacos I’ve had in Stockholm so far, the pork was juicy, the potatoes were cooked so well, sauces were 10/10 (could be spicier though 🌶️). Our favorite was the red sauce, it had a bit of sourness to it that was a nice complement to the tacos.

Service was good, but they were cleaning the inside of the restaurant when we were sitting there and spraying strong chemicals, so that was a bit much (luckily we were the only ones there and it was towards the end of our meal but still something to think about).

Will come back for their lunch deal and also try drinks! 🍹

To begin with, I am from Mexico. This place since the get go was a disappointment since they only had menu in Swedish and not even English. There was an Argentinan guy that was part of the staff and was pretty annoying and not helpful. Thankfully Dulce, the waiter who attended us was kind and lovely. When I ordered a corona it came warm.. another disappointment. However it was changed for a modelo which was nice and cold. In the other hand when the food arrived, the birria tacos were nice but I found the mushroom a bit bland.

It is hard to come close to the quality and atmosphere of a real Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend coming here. Bummer

Love almost everything here, from food, decorations,service and atmosphere.

And most importantly there are 90% Spanish speakers around which indicates it’s a superb restaurant.

We crashed in on a Saturday afternoon around 15,30, and luckily got a seat outside with the opportunity to enjoy the music performance.

Will definitely come back again!

OMG, this place is incredible, I went with a friend, we had the ceviche and tacos, in terms of quantity and quality, nothing to say, perfection! Im not going to lie, best ceviche I had in my life, the combination of flavours was mind blowing, I know now whenever I'll come back to Stockholm I will visit xulo. I loved how informal it was, like being in your friends place, staff helping each other and interacting with the customers in a very friendly manner, Christian the manager, amazing! Thank you for the lovely experience.
