Absolutely worth a visit,  beautiful and well kept fish tanks. But still I expected a bit more for the entrance fee and after reading reviews about the international 'status' on the list of largest aquariums. From many directions you are guided towards to the same large sea aquarium at the centre with the sharks. At one point, you have seen it enough.

A great experience! Worth the visit. You can easily spend 2-2.5 hours. All acquatic animals looked healthy, clean waters, great atmosphere.  Fascinating! A heads up, check online for any discount. We went to buy the tickets at their booth and they were charging 25 euros, when asked for the discount they said it was only online. So we  got out of the line and bought it for 13 euros online.

Seriously, best 25 euros ever!  It was awesome, sharks practically swimming right in front of your face, plus tons of other cool fish.  We went in January, so it wasn't crowded, and we got to spend ages looking at everything through those huge windows at the world's biggest aquarium.

Even though it's not magnificent as the oceanographic of valencia,  the Oceanário is an incredible place to visit,  and to a certain extent, it has something more to offer. In particular,  the main tank is huge and perfectly organised to form a lot of places for fish to explore or rest. It also has a lot of windows for visitors, offering them the opportunity to watch the fishes from many different perspectives.
