Beau Marche is on the face of it a lovely little place in a great location. A French style cafe/ brasserie with a nice atmosphere. You are given your menu but you have to order at the counter by the door. It should be great but it isn’t. Let’s get down to business here, this place is a complete rip off. Our bill came to more than 1000kr for a light lunch for three! One tuna salad sandwich, one tomato and Burrata salad, one tiny tin of anchovies with sourdough toast ( no garnishes) , some soft drinks and a couple of coffees. I repeat, well over £100 for a light lunch for three. You’ve got to be joking. The anchovies were served still in their tin! Unbelievable. They were so salty as to be almost inedible.
I love Copenhagen, but the food has been a disappointment all round, literally everywhere is serving tiny portions at extortionate prices. There is no honesty left in the restaurant trade.

Sweet little French cafe/ wine bar in the middle of Copenhagen. The atmosphere is lovely, very very Parisian. I had an americano and it was superb! Wish I could come for a longer time..

This place is a hidden gem! The toasts are super delicious and sides as well. Unfortunately we couldn’t taste any wine:( The only negative thing about the place is the staff. They are so morose. Also self-service style is not fit like this kind of pretty place at all

We loved Beau Marche, a hidden little gem in Copenhagen. We enjoyed the atmosphere and delicious food so much that we visited twice on our trip. Perfection!

Very cosy cafe in a backyard. Just had a cappuccino, which was very good, but they have some small dishes and the ones that passed me looked good. Was there on a Saturday around lunch. The staff got a bit overwhelmed by the number of orders and customers, even if there were lots of vacant tables. It was all a bit chaotic and the service came across as quite stressed. Took much too long to get a coffee served on this occasion. Even so a nice visit.
