We had katsu curry and karage chicken for takeout. The rice was too hard and dry. Curry sauce was tasty but Katsu chicken was dry as well and its bread crumbs was not nice eitherKarage chicken coated with sweet soy sauce (sort of teriyaki sauce but sweeter, like Korean style fried chicken to me). We waited more than 30 minutes for dine in then the staff said takeaway would be quicker so we changed our mind to have takeaway. However we still waited for more than 20 minutes until I checked with the staff and he realized that he gave our order to the wrong customers. Even I was very hungry when I had this meal; it didn’t taste good to me. Overall, it is overrated.

We came here on a Friday night and though there was a long queue, the waiter was tremendously friendly/kind to us 🥰 We got in after 30-40 minutes of waiting and the food came not long after as our order was taken in the queue.

I ordered the Karaage Curry with Eggs and my sister got the Katsu Curry. Both were good; the curry was tasty with just the right spice level. I personally liked the kaarage chicken that came with mine too. The portion was also huge.

Overall, it was tasty and comforting for a cold night, but I wouldn’t say it was the best curry I’ve ever had. It was still a very strong curry in its own right though 😙

This place perfectly captures the essence of a hidden gem, with seating for just 8 people. Be prepared for long waits, but I assure you it's worth it. The menu is small, so you can't go wrong with any choice! We wanted to sample as many dishes as possible, so we ordered a katsu curry, which features breaded chicken on rice with curry sauce on the side. You can add an egg to it, which I did. We also tried the karaage don and a curry veggie. All three dishes were incredibly tasty and well-prepared. The curry here is milder than the typical Asian variety and has a unique Creole twist. My favorite was the karaage don, thanks to the perfectly cooked caramelized grilled chicken that added immense flavor to the dish. Overall, this place is highly recommended for a unique dining experience, making you feel as if you've travelled to Japan.

Had a great experience at Kuma, the food was delicious, friendly service and a great atmosphere.
The karaage curry was perfectly seasoned and extremely tender, it's a must try!

Best chicken teriyaki I’ve ever tasted. I still prefer the teriyaki than the curry. Good value.
