Not even sure where to start here. Let me first say that I’ve had the pleasure of traveling the world and eating at some of the most elevated dinner spots.
When I booked this location, I was going to be in the Bordeaux area and wanted to find a hidden gem, off the beaten path. I stumbled across this on Michelin’s “suggested” list and jumped on the opportunity to try it.

Let me say, this meal was TOP 3 meals ever. Upon arriving for the 8pm seating, I found myself entering a quant spot with maybe 6-8 tables. Kitchen was open to see Chefs magic unfold and that it did. First dish arrived, a fresh spin on Salmon Sashimi, (see photo) the flavors in this dish was so perfectly blended and was a complete umami bomb.
I knew at this moment I was in for a special evening.

Wine pairing for all 8 dishes was stellar, and a special call out to the Sancerre Pinot Noir pairing with the Cod. SPOT ON!!! This is a must stop, and worth a drive. Please support this team, they deserve every ounce of your time.

Thank you Chefs for an amazing evening and even more special meal. This one will leave a lasting impression for years to come.

A wonderful gastronomic experience. An expressive menu, all the flavours were spot on and the wine pairings perfect. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Absolutely incredible experience, all around! The food, the hospitality, the wine, and the warm and welcoming energy of the restaurant. Thibault and Manon created a truly special experience for us that we will talk about for years to come. Overall a great experience. Tasty dishes, very welcoming host, chill vibes and cute place. Highly recommended for any kind of gathering. I’ll be more than happy to visit this restaurant again.

1. Entree. Sweet potatoes with smoked eel: since the beginning you can smell a fresh fish. Sesame seeds give the perfect touch of crunchiness to the dish with a pinch of sweetness coming from potatoes and a light note of smoked fish from the eel

2. Bread: soft inside, crunchy crust. Fresh, home made. Two types, cereal/seeds and integral ones. Seeds is more squishy, with notes that resemble Italian polenta

3. First course: garlicky smell coming from the sauce, very fresh. Light and pleasant. Cucumber’s small cubes give a fresh, acid taste to the dish that balances very well the garlic sauce. Raw seabass has a very light flavor that melts perfectly with the sauce and the cucumbers. The entire mix (including some onions) leaves an amazing, fresh feeling in the mouth. Very light, very tasty.

4. Second course: lemongrass smell from the sauce. Fresh cod with light flavor and nice caramelization on top that gives more structure to the dish. Flavor overall is great even if lentils take too much spotlight in both texture and flavor.

5. Pre-dessert: Comte cheese and biscuit with mustard/apple sauce. Amazing combination that fill up your mouth without leaving it pasty. Sweet honey-ish flavor.

6. Dessert: accompanied by ibiscus based drink. Strawberry smell. Amazing combination between the underneath soft cake, crispy strawberry foil and strawberries, whip cream and apple jam. Simply delicious.

Top star  level quality food, superb service and everything was well thought through.
Booked for dinner in summer 2023, and were told we are having a surprise menu.
It’s pricey but i’d say it’s worth it.
