De Jonge Dikkert is an absolute gem for food lovers. I opted for the six-course menu with wine pairings, and it was a flawless experience from start to finish. Each dish was an adventure, skillfully prepared and packed with flavor, with every wine enhancing the taste perfectly. The balance and thought behind the pairings were simply top-notch.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, blending a cozy vibe with a touch of elegance. It’s the perfect spot to relax, savor, and just enjoy a night out without any rush. The service was attentive yet relaxed—no pretentiousness, just genuine hospitality.

This is more than just dinner; it’s a culinary journey. Every plate was a new discovery, keeping things exciting while delivering comfort and satisfaction. De Jonge Dikkert nailed it: super chill, insanely delicious, and worth every euro - even though it’s definitely on the higher side 💸

Had dinner in early April 2024 - nothing so casual about this restaurant but was cosy despite it’s hush atmosphere.

We ordered the typical starters, main & dessert - but what we had was more than we ordered.  Each dish/ course was explained by the head server, presentation was beautiful and the texture & tastes were an explosion of colours.

The beef was cooked perfectly, the seafood were done delicately and the desserts were too artistic to eat!

Best sourdough bread with house-made butter, served creatively.

Our servers were so professional and kept the pace of the dinner flowing.  Only bug-bear, they do not have Moscato on the list, so had to settle for a Chardonnay which was not bad 😊

My family and I had an exceptional time at De Jonge Dikkert celebrating my dad's birthday. The staff went above and beyond to create the ultimate dining experience. The food surpassed expectations, undoubtedly it should deserve a Michelin star. Opting for the surprise menu added an extra layer of excitement, and the dishes turned out to be surprisingly amazing. The staff's knowledge and dedication to customer service were evident throughout the evening, enhancing the overall enjoyment. We are eager to return to De Jonge Dikkert and savor another delightful dining experience. Kudos to the restaurant for making my dad's birthday celebration truly memorable!

The food was unbelievably delicious with so many different tastes in one! I ordered chief’s choice of 7 dishes and everything was tasty, made from fresh fish, meat and vegetables. The waiter was polite and nice: he announced every dish, was curios about our impressions.

Though in total this dinner lasted around 2.5 hours, it was all in one experience which worth its money.

P.s. 7 dishes are a lot of food, because there were 3 appetisers + 1 pre dessert additionally to our order.
