Went there a few months ago with my wife, and unfortunately we had a terrible experience.
There were just a few more tables on a slow evening; and we got to place our order.
So far so good!

However, after over 30 minutes of waiting; we asked the waitress about our food. She said it would be coming right up.

We waited another 20 minutes, but to no avail.
Still no food.
The lack of enthusiasm from the staff was palpable.

To say that we felt singled out is an understatement. Definitely got the feeling that they did not care to service us.

The patrons sitting around us who all came in long after us got their food in a timely manner, so we were honestly very confused.

We decided that this experience was not for us; asked for our money back and left.
This deters us from ever going there again, unfortunately.

After reading about other negative reviews here; I see that there are plenty of others who have had similar experiences.
Which sucks because we were very excited.

Vi besökte bistron nyligen och började med att beställa varsin räksmörgås, som verkligen överträffade våra förväntningar. Smörgåsen var generöst toppad med färska räkor, serverade på en perfekt krispig brödbit, och smakerna var välbalanserade och delikata.

Efter den smakrika starten var det dags för dessert, och vad kan vara bättre än glass? Jag valde en Solsting, en glass med spännande och fruktiga smaker, medan min fru njöt av pistage- och hasselnötsglass. Båda varianterna var krämiga och fyllda med genuin smak, och det märks att Glassvillan lägger stor omsorg på sina glasskreationer.

Jag hade hört talas om deras fantastiska räkmacka och var nu tvungen att testa den. Oj vilken besvikelse, en av de sämre räkmackor jag ätit!! Till en början låg det två ägghalvor som var svarta runt gulan ovanpå smörgåsen. Sedan fick man se räkorna som var jättesmå och de var inte handskalade utan sådana burkräkor som har legat i lag och fått den där lite sura bismaken. Fram tills detta har räkmacka på vikingline legat i botten men denna gick förbi. Enormt besviken. Varför burkräkor?????

I had heard about their amazing shrimp sandwich and now had to try it. Oh, what a disappointment, one of the worse shrimp sandwiches I've eaten!! At first there were two egg halves that were black around the yolk on top of the sandwich. Then you got to see the prawns, which were very small and they were not hand-peeled, but such canned prawns that have been in layers and acquired that slightly sour aftertaste. Until this, prawn sandwiches on vikingline have been at the bottom, but this one passed. Hugely disappointed. Why canned shrimp?????

Stannade på chans när vi passerade, men så värt det. Räkmackan var väldigt god, stora portioner och glassen, mums, en proppmätt familj fortsätter resan!
