Came here for breakfast and coffee!

We loved the shrimp sausage sandwich, excellently seasoned and spiced with a sauce that reminds me of Thai food. Bread was also fluffy and soaked up the sauce nicely.

The ham and cheese sandwich was not quite to my taste but the serving was generous compared to the shrimp sandwich.

Nori potatoes were crispy yet creamy and the mayo was perfect. I wish the seaweed flavor was stronger though!

Cream top Americano had a great mouthfeel and the sour cream notes came through. Espresso was strong and delicious too.

The cappuccino was ok, and the Elsinore latte was too sweet so I preferred the Americano with cream top.

There were plenty of paid street parking spots at opening time on Friday morning!

I generally love this place. The fish sandwich is one of the best, ever. But I did just pay $14 for this amount of leaves and shaved celery. I love getting ripped off. I shop at Erewhon and everything. But this was crazy. Seriously about two ounces of salad.

I ordered the fish sandwich. It was pretty good. Fish tasted high quality. Bread was good. Sauce could have been better. Biggest downside was that service seemed slow. Took 20 minutes to get my food.

i seldom write a negative review and my hope  is that the chefs/owners will read this and see it as constructive feedback from a longtime patron.

we have enjoyed little fish since their pop ups at melody wine bar. back then, the fish sandwich and other inventive small plates were delicious!

since the opening of the brick and mortar, we have been back twice. the quality of the fish sandwich was not as good the first time. with the announcement of the shrimp dog item and happy hour menu 8/16, we decided to give little fish another chance.

it was incredibly disappointing. the shrimp dog was so intensely seasoned it tasted like impossible meat or soyrizo, there was no taste or texture of shrimp. the fish sandwich was the absolute worst it has been (see the other reviews about the over battered fish and dark/low quality meat). the eel- $25 for 2 charred small filets was obscenely priced.

it seems like with the popularity of the restaurant, there isn't the same level of care is put into the menu or ingredients anymore. i hope some of the more critical feedback can be taken to heart and things change. until then, i won't be dining here anymore.

I ordered the fish sandwich. It could have been an amazingly perfect fish sandwich if they used a clean white fish. Look at brownish flesh in my photo. The bread, crispness of battered crust, semi-melted cheese and the dressing and pickles were perfect. The fish ruined the sandwich.

The menu said it was pacific striped bass; however, the fish tasted like tilapia—it also had the brownish flesh with a dirt-like taste. I eat a lot of bass  and fish in general, and that fish tasted nothing like bass.

I’m highly disappointed that restaurant might be tricking consumers. It’s a $17 fish sandwich and the restaurant made a Michelin list. The fish was gross and tasted dirty. I’ve eaten fish sandwiches all over the world and none have ever had a dirty tasting fish.
