Whenever any of my friends craves a REALLY good egyptian food, we immediately go to Fasahet Somaya.
Also, when my friends come from abroad and want to eat authentic Egyptian good, we also go to the place.

I loved the intimate atmosphere, good service, and the warmth that Somaya gave to everyone in her place.

Her unique approach to dining is refreshing; she's open from 5-7 PM daily and closes on Saturdays, serving up a daily changing menu of delicious Egyptian dishes. Sometimes, she even surprises us with Syrian or Moroccan specialities.

Even the branding is so good. خليها على الرزاق sentence is my favourite🤍.

A quaint and adorable place! The decor is so cute. Super cozy and inviting, Soumaya herself is very sweet! The waiters were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and tastes homemade, and made with love! Absolutely no notes. Especially loved the molokhiya.

If you’re looking for a dinner in Cairo, this Fasahet Somaya in Downtown is the PLACE TO BE! The taste of Egyptian home cooking as your mom food, among the most genuine and friendly around there, eating with you across the room with delightful decorations. Even Somaya is the most amazing hospitality that I meet there I Strongly recommend it but make sure to be there from 5pm because it opens 2 hours only

So delicious home made food crafted by the amazing lady Somaya .. so delicious and everyday serve a different menu .. follow their Facebook page for daily menu but always you will find two different protein items vegetable cooked with sauce carb salad and stuffed item
If you are a tourist and going to visit Cairo for short trip make sure to eat here and be ready in from of the place by 5 pm and it’s only open for 2 hours 😉😉
