Det här är ett av Great Plains mest exklusiva camp i Maasai Mara. Mara Nyika ligger i Naboisho, byggt på träbroar mellan träden med utsikt över savannen. Tälten är väldigt stora med lounge, skrivbord och badrum med stora fönster samt terrass längst med hela tältet (+ tom träningscykel!). Inredningen är rustik men lyxig, med mörkt trä, läder och dämpade färger. En dag fick vi tillgång till The Sambuk Suite, sviten med egen infinitypool. Reser man som familj eller som ett större sällskap är det här ett perfekt boende för den som söker både avskildhet och lyx på savannen. Campet har också en liten vinkällare där vi åt en av våra mest minnesvärda middagar. Vår guide Samson var lugn, lyhörd och alltid ett steg före, och Mambo, som ansvarar för campet, såg till att allt flöt utan att vi ens behövde fråga. Allt här andas lyx men som så diskret smälter in med naturen.
