Det här stället tog oss lite på sängen. Fyra tält bara, men det är mer som stora privata villor byggda uppe bland träden. Allt är tyst, perfekt planerat och med en sån otrolig känsla för detaljer: väggar i canvas som öppnas helt, badrum som känns som spa och sängen riktad mot skogen. Stilen är avskalad och skandinavisk och mindre rustik än på många andra camp här ute. Vincent, vår housekeeper, hade alltid hunnit tappa upp badet när vi kom tillbaka från kvällssafarin, och lagt värmekuddar i sängen inför läggdags. Frukosten ute i bushen var en highlight från vistelsen som vi aldrig glömmer. Och en kväll satt vi i köket med Masai Felix, åt kenyanskt (med händerna!) och pratade om livet och våra kulturella skillander. Penny, campets Manager, tog sig tid att sitta ner med oss och prata vid brasan och det gjorde att vi aldrig kände oss som gäster. Gemensamt för alla Great Plains camp vi bodde på under den här resan är den familjära känslan som personalen och atmosfären skapar. Letar man riktigt lyxigt camp i Maasai Mara är det till Mara Toto man ska!
