How do I book a tandem skydive and what does it cost?

 To book, contact Jason Richardson via WhatsApp at +27 72 150 7680 or email skydivetandem@mweb.co.za. Weekend tandem skydive costs R2500 per person and includes a Certificate of Achievement. Video and photo packages are available for an additional fee.

What are the weight and physical requirements?

 Maximum passenger weight is 95 kg. Participants should be reasonably fit and able to lift both legs simultaneously during landing. All medical conditions must be declared before booking.

 Payments can be made via cash, credit card, debit card, or EFT. A non-refundable deposit of R500 per person secures your booking, with the balance payable on jump day.

Skydiving with Skydive Tandem JHB was the most incredible and thrilling experience of my life! To celebrate our birthdays, my husband and I took the leap of faith together. I couldn’t have celebrated my birthday any other way! Had the time of my life, pure bliss!! My instructor (Billa) was amazing! The brief was clear and concise, updated me on everything I needed to know until the jump! The nerves were already out of the window!
Everyone else was so accommodating and and assured me that I’m going to have the time of my life and I surely did! Definitely going to come back for the course.

Booking process was also seamless and the communication was impeccable!!

Thrilling experience to say the least!
Excellent instruction and care by Rob who took (wrist cam) video with a goPro11 mini. Video costs extra and due to safety precautions they don't allow you to use your own action camera.
The entire event from going out to the aircraft until landing back on the ground took about 30min. Free-fall is about 20secs until deploying the parachute, the rest of the way down was about 5min. You get to steer for awhile. Landing involves a bit of skidding on the grass so dress accordingly. They do offer jump suit pants.
Weather delayed my jump date by a month. There were further delays in their schedule on the day that caused me to wait 3 hours before it was my turn. Weather was not a factor.
There's a little shop that sells snacks.m, and restrooms/toilets. The waiting area has limited shaded seating.
Would recommend bringing own camp chair, snacks/food and power bank.
Had lunch at Carltonville mall, not too far from this location.
There's a short gravel road between residential area and airfield.

Your have got to try this at least once in your lifetime. Amazing experience at an amazing centre with amazing people. Everyone here is super friendly. From the reception to student divers, to Tandem masters to the pilot. It was an all round beautiful experience. I suggest you book an early morning slot and don't be in a rush.  Sometimes the students may need to go in before you while the weather is still good, so you may end up having an hour or 2 wait. It's all worth it though.
