Vi visste innan vi besökte att det kunde vara blåsigt upp på taket, och vi informerades vår bokning kan annulleras. Taket var dock öppet men det var omöjligt att sitta ute bekvämt i den starka vinden. Vi lyckades komma in i ett bord på den mycket lilla insidan, men det var verkligen inte bekvämt och vi gick efter en drink.

Spektakulär utsikt över staden och bra mat. Vi åt ostron och sedan kräftorna, båda var vackra. Vi beställde dock 2 olika cocktails och fann båda för starka. De såg bra ut, men du kunde inte få mer än ett par. Jag tror också att ryktet över säljer den faktiska barutrymme, eftersom det inte skiljer sig mycket från någon annan takterrass bar och känns inte mycket speciellt för de priser du betalar. Personalen på nedervåningen är också mycket noga med att du har en bokning (vilket vi gjorde) , och få dig att känna att du inte borde vara där, jag kan tänka mig att göra platsen verkar mer exklusivt. Men när vi kom upp dit var det bara två andra bord upptagna. Jag märkte från de andra recensionerna att andra människor har upplevt detta. Som sagt, personalen var mycket uppmärksam och vår servitör, Lucky, var mycket vänlig och pratsam, aldrig lämnar oss utan en drink - han är en kredit till platsen.

En trevlig, om än blåsig, kväll i Silo Rooftop bar. Utsikten härifrån är fantastisk både i dagsljus och när det är mörkt. Vi åt kräftor vilket var underbart. Det är inte en billig utekväll men du betalar för platsen och utsikten. Enligt vår mening är det värt att göra. Tyvärr var det inte mycket till solnedgång men man kan inte vinna allt!

Vi var på takterrassen igår eftermiddag. Vilken fantastisk plats att titta på soluppgången, och fantastisk utsikt över staden. Vi sågs efter av vår servitör Prince som gav en enastående uppmärksam service. En av de bästa jag någonsin upplevt. Mat och dryck var till ett mycket rimligt pris och av exceptionell kvalitet. Inte att missa.

Rekommenderas inte. Det var noll vibe / atmosfär (när vi gick det var ingen musik spelas och det hade en cafeteria känsla) och under genomsnittet cocktails och ovanpå detta, servicen var inte bra. Det tog evigheter att få in vatten/vår beställning. Det blåste också rejält när vi åkte, vi bad om att få sitta på andra sidan men det fanns inget utrymme - vilket var bra, inget man kan göra åt det - men när vi åkte såg vi att massor av utrymme på andra sidan hade frigjorts men vi hade inte flyttats som vi hade bett om (för att ge lite ytterligare sammanhang hade vi också beställt mat inklusive någon knäckebröd sak och när de tog med det till bordet och tog av locket det var så blåsigt att brödet flög att min partner var tvungen att fånga det med två armar ovanför huvudet, vilket var lustigt, men också vid den punkt kunderna måste börja fånga sin mat och det finns utrymme på andra sidan sedan flytta dem? ? ) Min sambo sa också till personalen att hon ”fryser absolut” och kunde få en filt. De köpte bara den här med räkningen! Alla andra där såg olyckliga ut. Verkar lite som en turistfälla (som vi föll i) som bokar för en drink och sedan bara stanna för en eftersom det inte finns någon atmosfär, vilket bara förvärrar frågan. Förmodligen trevligare en solig dag, men även då finns det mycket bättre platser i CPT en solig dag. Vi tänkte att vi skulle prova Willaston Bar efteråt men det är också lika överhypat med ingen atmosfär. Sammantaget ett fullständigt slöseri med vår tid (och pengar). Undvik.

Vi hade kommit hit för Museum nere (utmärkt) och såg takterrassen bar underifrån. . Vi gick in på hotellet som förklarade en bokning var nödvändig. Lyckligtvis gjorde de oss mycket välkomna och upp vi gick. Det säger sig självt att utsikten är spektakulär. Det var en klar och solig dag som bara gjorde saker och ting ännu bättre. Våra servrar var bara en fröjd. Vi hade cocktails ( mango chili margaritas. . utanför listorna! ) och lite lokal öl som gjorde jobbet. Vår räkning var löjlig jämfört med de överdrivna London priser vi måste betala. Hela upplevelsen var utmärkt samtidigt som du inte klabbade din budget. . Det rekommenderas starkt. Njut! !

Min man och jag hade nyligen lunch i Silo Rooftop-baren och tyckte om upplevelsen. Vyerna enbart skulle vara värda resan, men maten var en extra bonus eftersom vi hade en skaldjur tallrik och matchade det med glas sydafrikanska viner. Vår server var utmärkt och hjälpte oss att välja viner och dessert. En mycket trevlig eftermiddag!
