The mussels for an appetizer as part of their seven course meal was the best thing I’ve ever tasted in my life! We stopped in there without a reservation and we’re able to sit outside, where we wanted to, despite the restaurant being mostly full. The wine pairings with all the food were excellent, and it was great to be around a staff who takes such pride and what they do. If you’re in Cape Town, this is a must visit!

I had a solo lunch date at COY during restaurant week SA, and I must say it was very impressive. It's located in a very tranquil environment away from the noice and chaos of the V&A. The restaurant is open,  so natural cool air comes in instead of using the aircon.

The people seated by the window are treated to beautiful views of table mountain, apartments,  and boats at the waterfront.

For each course, you have different members of the wait staff that bring a  dish to explain what is in it, and recommend how best to enjoy the dish. Each of  the dishes was well presented and packed with flavor. My standout dish was the main course (lamb) it was so good that I respectively scrapped the plate .

Overall, I had a great experience. Let's just say that I'm going to peer pressure my friends and family to give this restaurant a try

We recently dined at COY and enjoyed the experience, particularly the exquisite 7-course meal. The food was beautifully presented, and the ambiance elevated the evening. However, while one waiter provided exceptional service, the overall service from the waitstaff fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, this left us feeling that the 13% service charge wasn’t fully deserved. With some improvements to consistency in service, the restaurant could truly deliver a flawless experience to match its culinary excellence.

We were a party of 6. We experienced a tasting menu of an exceptionally high presentation standard. Each dish was very flavoursome. The service was attentive, fast & efficient. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

The food and service exceeded all our expectations.

Looking at the menu you expect ordinary food, but when it comes to your table, you are blown away by presentation and flavour. The staff are very well educated and trained. They are also very nice and talkative, we loved it !! Will come back anytime
