I was at drama last night with my friends . Heard bout it and we were like let’s try it out but the whole welcoming was just a total disaster!!!! The bouncers were extremely rude and nasty just because we didn’t dress the part didn’t mean they should treat us like trash . All my girls are short yet we are all over 18 we tried showing them our IDs they didn’t even seem interested. The coloured lady was extremely rude !! She was like in Afrikaans “ hulle wil nie in kom nie “ it’s crazy cause I understand Afrikaans very well . But the fact that she looked down on us was not on ! Please do see to to talk to the guys on the door to always try to accommodate guest as possible . What we experienced at the door was a total turn off and NEVER CAN RECOMMEND ANYONE TO COME TO DRAMA JUST TO BE TREATED LIKE THAT ! No one deserves that kind of treatment

Entrance to keep the rubbish out, music was great and you could literally fewl the atmosphere where everyone is just having good fun and found my new favourite rum

Where do I begin?
I've never been treated so badly in my life in a restaurant/club...I'm on holiday and going to Drama was the worst experience. The lady in the bathroom forcefully and brutally removed me and when I told her that I'd report her, she confidently said nothing will be done. So basically it's okay to treat people like animals there. The waiters are even worse, one of them even told the bouncers that they should harass us to pay because we haven't. (we had payed 30 mins prior)...
There's a lot that happened.. absolutely appalling service. The minute I stepped outside the door I was shaking and cried because of fear, as they were even forcefully touching me. As a young woman, DO NOT GO THERE, unless you're with people who spend thousands and thousands. They will only respect you if you buy bottles on bottles, or if you're a regular.

To conclude, I felt like an outsider in my own country for the first time in my life. As I'm writing this I'm still traumatized.

I expected that response, your employees already told me that you wouldn't escalate the matter. She specifically said that you'd take their side. I'm not surprised.

I won't go back and forth because clearly you don't understand customer service.

My partner was still at the table waiting for me, so how did we avoid to pay the bill?

Xenophobic? You were not even there , and you are saying very sensitive things based on lies told. Hectic.. I experienced everything first hand!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who was treated that way by your rude employees. Things will surely come to light.

Please conduct some sort of training for your team because they are in need of it.

The name Drama perfectly suits your place, and I definitely won't be stepping foot there ever again.

Worst club experience ever.. there’s no sitting for customers that don’t want the so called VIP seats😒. Not everyone who walks into your establishment wants to buy a bottle. Yerrr have options for your customers
Management needs to teach their staff basic customer service especially at the bar, one short buffy guy with short dreads (he is the worst). He literally forced my friend to give up their chair for his regular customer.
