Evol's atmosphere is utterly perfect for the alternative, and neither have I met staff as laid back and friendly as such elsewhere.

The entrance is through a hallway to the left of the downstairs bar, up a flight of quaint stairs.

They do serve water, but it is bottled and not tap.

Had a great time here dancing with loved ones! It’s the kind of place where you walk in and you’re struck by the pleasant aroma of vanilla sponge cake. Perhaps some other baked goods. The music is top notch! Absolutely can recommend.

I hosted an event here and the venue and management did not disappoint! The space inside has intimate character by the stage and it also has a large area at the back if you're looking for some rest from the dance floor. In general just Awesome vibes.

Lovely people and great spot. Unfortunately we had one of our phones stolen only to head downstairs and find that 2 other people also had theirs stolen, all within the span of 15 minutes. Security did nothing to assist with this or prevent it even after being asked. We found another friend at the end of the evening who also had a stolen phone. A bit of a disappointment after paying decent money for an event that was not safe and had no system in place for preventing organised thieves to walk off the premises freely and easily.

Enjoyed the experience! Reasons for that were the people that brought the right vibes and diversity. The music is pretty good in relation to Cape Towns standard in the techno scene… Further its pretty nice that you can walk downstairs and sit at the bar and get some fresh air if you want to calm down a bit. What was a bit embarrassing is that it is very hot un the club.
