Tons of items out of stock on the menu, both drinks and food wise.
The service was a bit on the slow side too.
When the eggs Benedict I ordered arrived it was boiled hard, the hollaindaise wasn’t great, there was only 2 small pieces of bacon and overall lots of underwhelming feelings.
Cool outdoor patio is about the only good thing. Won’t be back.

This was a disappointing start to the new year. Unfortunately they were the only restaurant open and we didn’t have much of a choice. There was only one waitress so service was extremely slow and sadly beyond her control she did try her best. When we eventually got our breakfast I spotted a blob of jam on my toast and there was no jam on my plate, so this makes me belief they recycled toast that people did not eat. They brought poached eggs when my friend asked for scramble and then when she got her scrambled eggs she had the same issue with the toast. They took the toast back and by the time they brought fresh toast my breakfast was finished. The bacon was not crispy at all looked so pale like they boiled it instead of frying it. Overall this was the worst breakfast we ever had :(

After some of my favourite cafes closed down, we were in search of new ones in Cape Town- we found Micaffe.
The look of the cafe is neat and modern. The coffee is good, the food is as expected, desserts are delicious. I would've rated higher if the management cared more, our waitress was not properly trained (but friendly). When we ordered a bottled of "the best tasting water in the world", it had expired the previous month. There was no sparkling water that hadn't expired in the cafe.

Service was fantastic! Very friendly and attentive waitress!

Food was delicious, but I wish the egg on the eggs Benedict was soft poached and not hard, but otherwise was excellent. Also the coffee-cappuccino looked beautiful and was delicious
