It's no surprise this is considered one of the finest afternoon teas globally, from Cape Town to London.

The hotel is incredibly family-friendly, with a range of activities and thoughtful touches that made everyone feel cared for, including complimentary childcare at the spa. The balance between family fun and tranquil adult spaces, like the serene adults-only pool, was impeccable.

Amazing hotel with stunning views of the lion's head mountain. We had 4 fantastic days exploring Cape Town from this amazing hotel. The staff are attentive and make you feel very welcome. Luxury rooms with attention to details, rustic deco and scrumptious food. very central location to many attractions. Well worth the money

I was treated to High Tea for my birthday.   I can recommend this as a truly memorable experience.  The tasty morsels of food were varied and interesting and beautifully presented. Craig the Tea Sommelier deserves a mention as he knows his art, has great presence with guests, is there just when you need him and had great knowledge of all the teas and even how to create your own exciting blends.
The hotel is magnificent, from a bygone era.  Sadly, the gardens were not in full flower yet, but overall, it was a very special experience, and I recommend it.

Absolutely shocking. Security needs to sort out the noise levels of staff leaving. Doubt you'd tolerate that behaviour in the main entrance. The taxis play  their music so loudly around 11:30 pm every night. There is 0 consideration for the local residents. I get they're (staffers), excited to end their long shifts, but need to be a bit more mindful.  I can't imagine how loud it must be for the guests of this supposedly world class hotel. 20k a night to listen to the fresh taxi-beats on worn out speakers... The cognitive dissonance is astounding...do better y'all!

Fantastic experience. I went there with a friend for an afternoon High Tea, and I loved EVERY second of my time there!
The friendliness and generosity of the staff from the security guard at the entrance gate to the car guards and from the receptionists to the waiters exceeded my expectations!
The 4 course High Tea menu has a great variety of sweet and sour, well-currated treats. The prestine gardens offer a nice view from the terrace and a pleasant ground for a little digestive stroll!
Everything was perfect!
