Visited Rita's, sadly unaware its existence up to this point. Found our way through Hudsons and seated by our excellent waitress, Lisa. Who was immediately engaging and letting us know about the Happy Hour special. Even though we'd booked a table outside, the weather took a bit of a turn and was constantly keeping an eye out for a table inside once available, which she managed to do twice, effectively turning a visit for supper in to a 6 hour visit. As mentioned, She explained the happy hour special as well as recommending additional cocktails as well as explaining the delicious, albeit tiny menu. Cocktails were lovely, and all of the various dishes were wonderful and great value for money, in our opinion. Lisa and those who helped her were excellent throughout the evening and were constantly checking in on us. Staff played a huge role in keeping us there as Rita's continued to fill throughout the evening, and the atmosphere continued to build. Wonderful experience and would most definitely return.

Becks was absolutely amazing. We were celebrating a birthday and she made sure it was special. An insane customer tried to interrupt our beautiful night and she put them straight. She is absolutely wonderful! A true gem in the hospitality industry. Made our night for sure. becks for president! She also took fabulous photos of us without us even having to ask! (And her outfit was amazing)

Definitely not what we expected it to be. We literally waited 45 minutes for nachos, and then it came deconstructed and looked like a salad. The wait for the other dishes was long and not what we expected. The service wasn't bad but could definitely be stepped up. When we got there, we were 'welcomed' by a hostile manager who looked at me and said, "Don't walk in, the floor is wet, and we only open at 3 pm." It was 3.03pm. Everything went downhill from there. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Yes, the cocktails were amazing, so if you just want a lovely cocktail, go. The cocktails are amazing. However, if you're expecting great service, food to come out quickly, and great service, don't go and try it as you'll be disappointed. It is definitely a thumbs down from me and the other 15 people who were with me.

Had such fun with a group of friends at Rita’s last night! The hostess showed us to a fantastic table outside. We received incredible service from our waitress thereafter! Ensuring that our glasses were never empty.

Probably one of the best new cocktail bars in Cape Town. Visit on a Friday or Saturday night. Great rooftop balcony views with table mountain and the sunset as your back drop. Groovy djs and drinks are decently priced. Can highly recommend.
